Congratulations. You deserve it. You are all extremely creative and have a great sense of humour. I Can't wait to see what you doing next. Take care and greetings from South Africa.
Oh boy, long time no see indeed, welcome back old friends. Still watch Slice of life at least once a month! A touchstone of joy. Keep posting, excited to see you experimenting with some new tools.
Love the practical logo design in the end. Excited to see what you will make with this awesome machine. This combined with the CNC and 3d printer, there will be some cool miniatures. Can't wait to see the next project. Cheers!
Awesome. Glad to see a new video from you guys! Can’t wait to hear what the new project is. I’ve had to put myself on a budget with Kickstarter’s but y’all are exempt. I’ll support any projects you guys put up
Pozz
Hey I discover you recently (like 1 week ago) and i was amazed by your Blade Runner Short Film, and HOW you've made it ! The fact that you use practical effect and specialy Miniature is incredible, i have replay like hundred of time some PRODUCTION Diary to see how you made this film came to life, it really inspire me. Im glade you are still uploading and maybe have a new blade runner project, or sci-fi ;) Greeting from France
I can't wait to see what you people do next, it has been such a joy watching your magnificent short film (along with the behind the scenes creation videos and follow ups) so I will be eagerly awaiting your next video.
Cool. It uses Illustrator. I like that it gives you a test chart for future reference. And the engraving function is very impressive. It looks precise in it's ability to cut & engrave. I dig the cut out of your brand logo at the end. Nice touch 🙂
I run a small laser cutting business, and if that water isn't either properly distilled, or fully de-mineralised, get it out of there, trust me ... Run it for a few minutes with white vineger to clear out the tube of any residuals, and then replace with the correct stuff so you don't drastically reduce the lifespan of the tube. Also if you can, keep the water reservoir cooled BELOW 25c at all times when running, again, so you don;t drastically reduce the lifespan of the tube. A proper chiller, or a reservoir with replaceable bottles of Ice will do, the ice acts as a heat exchanger and you just replace the bottles when required. Looking forward to see what you do with it :)
Yeah! Glade to hear about new project! Extremely great news and can't wait to see more! ;) P.S. Х-files t-shirt its a clue for theme of new project or, you know, just t-shirt? ^_^
I am a big fan of Blade Runner and I love your movie ! It will be great if you can make sequel of Slice of life ! Use crowdfunding website to get the founds ?
Cool, I am really looking forward to your new project. Decided, I will support you, if you decide to go for kickstarter again. I loved Slice of Life, and then watched all the making off videos. Just a question: would you consider to do "making of" videos also for the developmental stage, such as screen writing, design decisions, etc?
Hi, I'm looking at Beambox to cut acrylic (various pastel colors for cake toppers, signs, etc). Is this machine quiet and easy to use? Your thoughts? Thank you.
Sorry Almira, I missed your comment until now. My experience with beambox pro is great. Its very easy to use and intuitive. Once you have your design its less then a minute of setup before you start cutting. And its not that loud. The cutting itself is pretty silent, the extraction vent is the loudest part but its not that bad. All in all, a well made product in my experience. ;)
@@sliceoflifefilm thank you for getting back to me. But dies the beanbix pro able to cut various acrylic in pastel colors without a problem? Thank you.
haha, it turned out like that in the video but it was an exacto knife cut! Actually the Beambox has a safety feature - when you open the lid it immediately stops the laser so I couldn't test it with my finger even if I wanted to.
I still in awe how amazing Slice of Life movie is. The greatest fan-made movie ever. Even better that many high budget Holywood movies
we are thankful and humbled! ;)
A new video from the Slice boys? This is an unexpected and very welcome turn of events.
Haha, yes! we surprised ourselves as well! :D

Thanks a lot Shane!! ;)

Can't wait to see what you guys are cooking up next! Welcome back!
Nice to see you're back! I'll stay tuned for more.
Grats on the laser cutter! Stumbled across your videos today, and watched Slice of Life! It was awesome, thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks a lot!
AWESOME! Can't wait to see what you guys come up with using this new tool!
It pays to be funny because I’ve watched a few other videos and yours was the most informative and entertaining. Definitely subscribed!
Thanks a lot! I appreciate that!
Loved your video , your accent sounds great,I bought this very machine 6 mouths ago in Australia , and have loved every minute of using it.
Glad to hear that! I love the Beambox too, wonderful machine!
All the movie references in this is mind blowing!
Long live models and practical effects!
Clearly you need to build a sci fi corridor, so you will need to order another 35 laser printers to get their pallets.
hahahaah.. no other way around that!
CONGRATS !!!!!! Waiting for your New Projects .... Space LAB ?
Love all you do, can't wait for more

Yea it's incredibly precise. can't wait to do an actual miniature model with it!
damn! can‘t wait for your new project!

Thanks a lot for the tips! Replacing the water is easy enough and I'll do that for sure, but I'll think about the cooler as well. ;)
The truth is out there. Grats on the laser. 🐢
Very good and informing video. Love it. Thank you 😊
Now we need some sci-fi builds with the Beambox
Of course! We all need it!
Yeah! Glade to hear about new project! Extremely great news and can't wait to see more! ;)
P.S. Х-files t-shirt its a clue for theme of new project or, you know, just t-shirt? ^_^
hahaha, just a tshirt on a huge x files fan!
Very excited!
Superb! 🔥🔥🔥

That is awesome!
Great video!!
lep poklon, nema sta :) zasluzeno :)
Can it cut metal like gold?

@@amael1224 i only cut transparent acrylic so far but i dont see why it couldn't cut pastel ones as well. Its the same material after all.
And I realised you are Amira, not Almira. Sorry bout that 🤭
@@sliceoflifefilm thank you! And thank you for correcting my name. 👍
I bet a few of us might just buy slice of life logo coasters..... just maybe.
hahaha.. I'll have to try and cut some of those :D
Cool
I you buy a few could you combine the lasers to destroy a planet?
haha! Perhaps :D
Did you test the laser on your finger? =)
haha, it turned out like that in the video but it was an exacto knife cut! Actually the Beambox has a safety feature - when you open the lid it immediately stops the laser so I couldn't test it with my finger even if I wanted to.
Counter Strike ❤
haha glad someone caught it! ;D
clearly one more of those horrendous clickbaits... the thumbnail was completely misleading!
no nooo, at one point the lasers actually DID come out of my eyes, but the camera wasn't on, so I had to do a photoshop mockup as best as I could :P
Really?! Oh well...in that case all is forgiven!
