Because Soul of the Supreme Celestial King banishes the Fusion materials listed on Supreme King Z-ARC, and his materials are *4 Dragon Monsters (1 Fusion, 1 Synchro, 1 Xyz, and 1 Pendulum).* Three of the four Z-ARC Magicians (Purple Poison Magician, White Wing Magician, and Black Fang Magician) are not their respective Dimension Dragon's Extra Deck type (Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monster), and none of them are Dragon monsters (all are Spellcasters, like the rest of the Magician Pendulum monsters). They can only be used to Summon Z-ARC via Astrograph Sorcerer's and Chronograph Sorcerer's effect, specifically. *TL;DR: The new Trap Card was designed to work with the Dragons, not the Spellcasters.*

Supreme King Gate Magician is the LIGHT version of Astrograph Sorcerer. Supreme King Dragon Lightwurm is the LIGHT version of Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm. And Odd-Eyes Arcray Dragon is the LIGHT version of Supreme King Z-ARC. They are all retrains and/or counterparts.
Can we have an updated dark magician deck profile please? As well as an updated test hands and combos for it please. I know we got a magician of chaos profile but they are pretty different. Anyways I love your deck profiles and test hands/combos. Keep it up!
I know Zack that support may all of them great for you I understand but I think the worst among of them suprem celestal king odd eyes arc ray dragon I feel his effects disappointed literally just high scale and resuming and search scale the search scale there so many ways so I think the card not that needed ( I love zarc character and his monsters but this one on term of dualing ground so disappointed)

I want to make a build like what Zarc actually used so what should I replace ash blossom and Nibiru with? He never played those and probably wouldn't play them so I don't want to either...I want to make it as accurate as possible...any suggestions anyone?
Best to run a Supreme king/magician deck for that. This is pretty much just Supreme King. Though truth be told, shutdown cards like ash are totally Z-arc's thing.
@@pkmnlover3812 it say currently banish, this type of therme work at the activation, so they need to be actually ban before the resolution for it to work, it's a fail card
@truck-kuntheisekaimaker9211 the way the card actually works is you tribute a Spellcaster with 2500 atk then you banish the materials (fusion, Synchro, xyz, and Pendulum dragons) from hand, deck, extra deck field or Graveyard to summon Z-ARC.

If you were trying to use those pendulum magicians as material then it won't work.

2 lvl 7 monsters to xyz rank 7 absolute dragon -> link away -> absolute dragon effect activates -> summons vortex dragon

Don't need it, it has to many restrictions.
celestial soul doen't work , you need too have already banish the dragons when the card is actived
