Badass flip flops!!! I like the grooves underneath the sole area!!! A bit of ventilation for the soles of your feet!!! I prefer a pair that does not go in between the toes!!! Certainly a pair that will outlast every other pair of flip flops!!! 😼 😎

Once-upon-a-time I picked up a used low-profile tire for the purpose of making sandals. But the permanent curl from the vulcanization process was forever fighting my toes and arches. If I were to force the pieces flat and then heat them up to vulcanizing temperatures, would they vulcanize a bit more and take on a new set? Might have to try it.

Remind me of the time some thirty years ago when my family was operating a cottage industry making shoes. A European lady would bring a piece of tyre and a pair of sport shoes with a worn sole and asked my brother to change the sole with the tyre. The shoe sole was changed twice before she get a new pair of shoes with a worn sole to be changed with the tyre. We did not asked her why she changed the sole instead of buying new pair but speculate maybe she find the worn out sport shoe more comfortable.
