Proof Jesus Went to Hell and 6 Things He Did While There! The Sign of the Prophet Jonas.

Probably the most blasphemous statement to someone who doesn't read their Bible... Jesus went to hell.. What Jesus did in hell.. is actually very important and a huge blessing. Grab your Bibles and follow along.
Jesus likens himself to Jonah in Matthew 12:39-40 and references Hell. (the heart of the earth) I've searched through the scriptures and made a list of 6 things The Lord Jesus Christ did in Hell.

Jesus Spirit was incorrupt when He went into Sheol because He already atoned on the cross for all mankind and it did not corrupt Him, but rather elevated
us. The soul that sinneth it shall die. Jesus actually had to release His Spirit to the Father, because He already atoned for sin, so sin could not be the thing that killed Him, but to establish that He had overcome death hell and the grave. He became a resurrected human for His own sake and so that in Christ we too can resurrect. Christians
underestimate the radicating of human corruption by Jesus in His own body on the tree. He did this by His nature.. the Bible says death is swallowed up into victory..

Went to hell or is it Sheol or Hades…which is underworld. I do think he went to paradise and hell, but we need to be careful with the word underworld or fiery hell. Rev 1:17 is the best and Peter 3 & 4. Preached the gospel to those in Paradise. Saved through Christ for the Old Testament saints as well.
