Something that I love about your Alisa videos is that the broken English actually feels somewhat believable. It is lacking in the correct places without going overboard. A lot of people trying to do broken English will say something along the lines of "Me no speak English gooder. me do the doctor thing. me hear chest with earplug rope" which just is not how someone who is EAL would speak. I do speak English, but I live in France and my French isn't great so I am still very familiar with speaking broken languages, and it is such a pet peeve of mine when people do such an inaccurate portrayal of it. The way you talk in this video is *exactly* how I communicated in French for the first couple years after coming here (and sometimes even now, when I'm tired or stressed) In these videos of yours, I feel seen, and I feel validated lol
I love how much better Alisa has become as a doctor, I still remember the video when she was a student and is now a great, professional doctor herself. It's nice to see how much progress Alisa has made, love and enjoy your Alisa videos so much Lizi ❤
