Hello from Spain. Thank you for the information about hotels that is very comprehensive and is helping me prepare my trip to New York. I would appreciate some more information on whether the street noise is heard in the hotels you evaluate as I think it is essential that the hotels have a good isolation of both noise and light. I would also like you to advise me on a hotel that is especially quiet and not very expensive. Thank you very much and good luck with your channel!
That's right. Unfortunately, majority of the hotels that I've stayed so far does not have double paned windows. Meaning, if you are located 7-9 floors below, and street facing, you will definitely hear the noise outside. Thank you for the message! :)
Hi. Thanks for your reply. I would appreciate any suggestion of a quiet hotel in New York to sleep either by its location, by its insulation of windows, etc. Greetings.@@1ShotTravel
I would look for hotels in between avenues in midtown. For example, Holiday Inn Express Manhattan Midtown West would be a quieter location. Its 10-15 mins walk from Times Square but you're in Hell's Kitchen. There would be similar ones in Midtown East as well like the EVEN Hotel New York - Midtown East.
You will not be able to access the elevators before going through security (showing your keycard). Also, the elevator itself require key cards to operate :) Hope this helps!
Please see parking info for Hotel Edison below: "Parking availability Yes! We offer valet parking for $75 (self park $55) for 24 hrs for a standard vehicle with no in-and-out privileges. Oversized vehicles are $85 or $95 (self park $65 or $75, depending on size of SUV) for 24 hrs with no in-and-out privileges. Valet parking service operating hours are Monday-Sunday 6AM-12AM. For parking assistance outside of this time, self park is recommended. Self park garage locations are: 259 West 47th Street."
Hi. I read that there are bedbugs in this hotel, do you know if it's true? Because I'm going to the USA next month with my daughter and I don't know which hotel to choose, because people always writes that the hotel is infected with bedbugs and I'm very afraid of it. 🙈 I have one more question, did you pay a deposit at this hotel?
I think if you are going to choose this hotel, book the Signature Room and not the Classic Room. The Signature Rooms are semi newly renovated and as I've shown in the video, their mattress has a protector as well :)
What do you guys think? Would you stay here in your future travels in New York City? 😊
Just about to book this hotel for a stay next month. Coming from the UK!
@@davidwhite9230 enjoy your trip! 🎉😊

I thought this was shut down. I'm glad it reopened Thank you for this information.
I think they did shut down for a bit 2020, but they reopened when JFK Airport reopened for travel.
Thank you!
I'm looking forward to my stay here in the fall!
Enjoy your stay at the Hotel Edison!!! :)
Thank you showing us the Edison Hotel. How was the wall unit for heating/cooling? Did it make noise at night?
They have central air so there’s no wall unit AC. It does not make a lot of noise. 👍🏻
Thanks for the video - i booked a signature room for a trip later in the year.
Wonderful! :)
How about a review of the Crown Plaza Times Square.
Staying there this Sunday. Video will be up around end of the month hopefully :)

Hello - I saw that the deposit is $100/night for breakage. Pretty standard for most hotels to hold this amount on your credit card until you check out
