71 year old BTS Army. BTS lyrics are mega important to their music. Please in the future use English CC. They use a combination of Korean and English. BTS members are heavily involved with the writing of their own music, especially the 3 members of the rap line. However, all 7 members are songwriter/ producers. They each have done solo songs on BTS albums. 3 members are now serving 18 months in the S. Korean military and the last four members, including Jung Kook the youngest at 26, will enlist by the end of December. They will reunite as BTS in 2025. All have done solo projects / albums before enlistment except one. This song is a diss to their many haters who have been trying to take them down since they debuted in 2013 and continue to this day. Thank you! 💜
LIt's a shame that you miss one of the most important aspects of Bangtan's music, his LYRICS. In this group nothing is random and their lyrics have content, hearing that tells that Bangtan is more than kpop, where the visual, the look, the clothes are what matter and the music is an accessory.

Honestly...with around 1,000 songs, picking "where to go next" is...difficult. More BTS? (Honestly, I'd start at the bottom with their 1st MV - "No More Dream" - and work your way up the list.) More of their solo songs? (I would suggest going in order, from RM's mixtape, simply titled "RM", up to the rest of the songs from Jungkook's "Golden" album...and everything in between - both from their solo mixtapes/albums to their solo songs on BTS albums.) Collaborations? (They've worked with MANY other artists - as a group as well as individually. One of my personal favs is RM and Warren G's "P.D.D." I've always felt that one was seriously underrated.) A specific genre? (BTS has never really been "just" pop. They've covered a lot of ground over the years.) Commercials? (Seriously, other than their McDonald's "BTS Meal" partnership, they've never really done a "short" song for a commercial.) Unit songs? (Note: A "unit" is when 2 or more members do a song together - just not all 7. Usually it's divided by "Rap Line" songs and "Vocal Line" songs, but they also have a lot more than just those...my personal fav. isn't an official release, but Jimin and Jungkook doing a cover of "We Don't Talk Anymore".) Pre-debut songs? (There aren't a lot of them, but there are a fair few - group and solo...even a couple before BTS was BTS - that is, when BTS was just RM along with Iron and Supreme Boi. Iron was, sadly, found dead at 29. Supreme Boi later went on to produce, and write, more than getting up on stage himself.) There's just SO much to explore...I can't really decide what to request "next".
fyi 1 of the inspiration for the song was rm watching president obama's speech to congress & national press club where he dropped the mic at the end of his speech.
You should watch the original video (not live) Paradise by the dashboard lights by Meat Loaf, if you haven’t yet, to see the original mic drop and hankie toss! It’s a very fun song ❤😅
I think you get more out of it if you turn on cc. You can watch once for the feel and music and another time concentrating more on lyrics. Just a suggestion. Not sure if you know but they released a remix of Jung Kook’s song, “3D” with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE yesterday. It is 🔥 . I like it better than the original.
