They the definitely did an excellent job given the circumstances, but they are by no means the only band to have done so.
@@lauchlinmacneil1567 Maybe not the only band, but I'm hard pressed to think of a band that did it better in 2020, especially of touring-focused bands. It's been awesome to watch Goose continue to rise this year, and I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of rooms they can fill when live shows start back.

@@easymorningrebel6654 it might not be a popular opinion, but Trey Anastasio has had a pretty successful/noteworthy 2020, with his pandemic creations from March to May-ish, then the 8-week Beacon Jams "virtual residency." Though I know it's a bit different than this

The costumes remind me of Devo. The noodling chops are academic, and the range of tones boring. The melodies and lyrics are pedestrian, almost canned. Don't quit your day job, kids.

@@dirtybsvarieties4934 Just my take. Have seen many of the Rock, Blues, & Jazz masters of the past, from Ellington and Basie, up to Garcia and Clapton. Lacking a decent composer, arranger, or lyricist, most "jam bands" are sad affairs. One solo after another, showing off chops that end up being incoherent, repetitive, and worst of all, Boring.
@@woodystemms3799 just wanted to make sure you weren’t being sarcastic. I’m not understanding all the heat these cats are getting right now at all. I keep giving them listens and I feel the same way you do. I mean there is a way Neil Young DESTOYS a jam compared to them and he’s not even in the “scene”. I totally respect their talent as musicians but boring is dead on man.
Look I love Neil Young to death but if both y'all call these guys boring and cite Neil as an example of what they could strive for then....idk....miss me at the party.

61 year old fan from CT and these guys dominated my music feed in 2020. Love the fusion of styles along with the great cohesion of musicians. Can't wait to see these guys in person when we can do that again.

Just beautiful with the NYC skyine in the backdrop. You guys really were a cut above the rest in 2020 makin lemonade outta lemons during this miserable pandemic. This is just a perfect way to end an amazing year for Goose. Lookin forward to what 2021 has in store and thanks for making the past several months at home a little better!

@@morgancahill5021 totally. I’m a bassist as well, and I know that there are many variables that come into play in creating bass tone. Ultimately it’s the musician that makes the music. Trevor would sound great with a $150 squire bass. A $5,000 hand carved bass with top of the line electronics, pro level amplification, and experienced sound reinforcement technicians help. 😃

only getting better, especially with the extra percussion...it does so much, a bigger more beautiful sound. I remember seeing them in Norwalk CT in the beginning of 2017 to around 30 people. We knew then that they were special, truly.
