    Can normal Abomasnow work? I don’t have a shadow.

      Yes it should work fine! I'm the opposite and only have the shadow haha

      @@ognamboy, my first battle with this team, I got triple hard countered. Tentacruel for Abomasnow, Fire Fang Mawile for Trevenant, and Shadow Victreebel for Jellicent. Nothing I can do so I surrendered the match but the second battle, I did win.

    I went 4-1, then 1-4, then 4-1, then 1-4, then 3-2 at the 2500 elo range lol with this team. If I can't align jellicent with shadow mawile it's gg

    • @ognamboy
      @ognamboy  Год назад +3

      Yeah it’s quite difficult if you see it in the lead or if you’re forced to use your jelli in a middle matchup and they have it in the back to sweep

    • @BroknChandelure
      @BroknChandelure Год назад +2

      Yeah mawile is a core breaker isn't better to run jelli as a lead so we can bait out mawiles by trev?

    • @ognamboy
      @ognamboy  Год назад +2

      @@BroknChandelure you definitely could if you’re concerned about mawile. The reasoning for this order is to catch opponents off guard. Most teams in this meta are ABB with either double grass or double water in the back. With my previous tentacruel double grass team I showcased lots of players with mawile in the back would swap in a tentacruel to meet my safe swap grass type, assuming I had double grass and save the mawile for the second grass type.

      I’ve been able to win a couple mawile leads. Swap to Trev, they always stay in. Build up to Shadow ball, bait with seed bomb- they always shield. You should be able to get another seed bomb off and put it at 25-20% health. Wait the timer and bring Jelli in. If they don’t swap you can get a nice farm on jelli, even if you shield the play rough. Chances are, mawile is the only hard answer they have to aboma.

      @@rudeal30 yep that’s exactly how you play it out! Same would apply if you safeswap trev and get met with a mawile as well

      U need to scroll to the bottom of that one pokemon and it will say new attack or learn new attack and u spend from around 50 to 100 candys with 50,000 to 100k stardust granting u the new ability
