Love this video! I’m visiting Monteverde this month and have heard good things about all the cloud forests so this was helpful to see how they differ. Hours many hours would you say you need to explore each??
Thank you! 😊 at Monteverde we did most of the trails and spent about 4 hours hiking around/eating at the cafe. So like half a day. And at Santa Elena we literally spent the whole day there because of how the shuttle buses back to town worked but in hindsight we should have opted for an earlier shuttle back. If you want to do all the trails there though then you are looking at almost a full day maybe like 6 hours. Really depend on how much you want to see. Hope that helps and have a great trip! 😊🤞
We actually didn't rent a car. We just used public transport to get around and it was generally very good 👍 sorry we cant help with your question but hope you have a great trip to Costa Rica! 😊
It’s probably going to be a little more than $40 now just because of inflation. Which park are you referring to? Monteverde or Santa Elena? Because they are a little different.
@@Carbonfiber2004-wx6mu it’s now $49 + taxes to do only the treetop suspension walk that we did. They did have a complimentary shuttle to the park when we were there that runs back and forth pretty regularly but it’s worth asking about that when you book. You can book via their website and there’s also a live chat feature if you want to ask about the shuttle 👍
already love all the wildlife in Costa Rica!
We really love how much Costa Rica is so in touch with their natural environment 😊 it means there are so many animals to see! 😊

Would you say that the trails in the Monteverde cloud forest would be easier to navigate for folks in their late 70's?
Yes 100%! They are better maintained and shorter than those in Santa Elena 😊
What time of year did you guys’ visit?
We were there in February 😊 thanks for watching!
