i personally LOVE "Ride The Vibe" so much and i feel like the music video doesn't do justice for how amazing and laid back the choreo actually is. i remember when i first watched it i only liked the pre-chorus, but after seeing their Performance37 video i just became obsessed with the whole song
As for the members, they are pretty isnane dancers and most of them has backgrounds in dancing, so they are great performers and very charismatic, and that's why they did dance videos called nexz archive on their RUclips channel, where they collaborate with famous choreographers and dance to their choreography version of the selected songs, they have 4 videos and each one of them is better 1 to 2 mins, you must definitely watch them so you would know how crazy is their dance line
Their Starlight is also good! Their B-side~ also, all of them are dancers, a really good one with literally most having street background. I think that's why JYPE promoted them to be a global group, since their talents are massive. You need to watch their latest performance at JLEAGUE opening performance, so smooth those footwork, body lines, chef kiss.
7:41 the falsetto guy is Tomoya (in a white beret in the first prechorus with the “woo woo woo”) & the guy in the middle is Yu, he’s also the one breaking before the last chorus. *fun fact: one of the producers is Miles Barker who produced some kpop songs before + did production for Chris Brown
I wasn't a big fan of the chorus at first but after a few listens i ended up loving it!! I've listened to this song so much since if came out and it still hasn't gotten old!! definitely one of my favourite debuts of 5th gen
NEXZ really released something different and very well filmed and Intergraded with the choreo and charisma of the members individual voices and presence now
let's goo, NEXZ! 🖤I love them so much, so far my fav debut of the year! the song sounds a bit unusual, but the more I listen, the more I love it! 🖤 also, these guys are incredible dancers/ performers .. recommend you tu watch their NEXZ Archive videos, you'll be impressed!
1:00 Yeah, unlike NiziU, who promoted entirely in Japan for quite a while before eventually branching out to Korea, NEXZ are operating in Korea from the outset, and at least some of them were already training in Korea before the show. All but one of the members are Japanese, and Sogeon is Korean, but was _raised_ in Japan, and was about as educated in his native language as the rest of the group.
I felt off listening to this at first, but I knew it was good. After some listens and that rewatching that scene with Yuu, I love it so much. Also, the choreo is so good.
I had the same feeling listening to NMIXX for the first time but then the melodies got stuck in my head for some reason so i totally get your first impression
The reason why they made this in Korean is for the purpose of promoting with it in Korea. Something similar to the case of WayV - Give Me That. Which is okay, no problem there, but I would expect and kind of prefer for these "Japanese/any other region focused Kpop groups" to first focused on the market they are created for and then expand elsewhere. Because as it is now they are brand new JYP boy group, which focuses on Korean market (as well) and therefore it kind of steal the spotlight for the upcoming LOUD boy group. Like once they debut (if ever...) it will be like: "Oh yeah... another JYP boy group promoting in Korea, cool..."
@@nadyavishnyakova8297 I am aware of that, but it is just not that usual to start with a Korean version if they are Japan focused group. I know NiziU started to do Korean versions too, but it was not immediately + they mentioned it in the title that it is Korean version. Here it is without any “version” and then for the Japanese one they mention it. And it is usually the other way round if the group is Japan focused
It's not nexz problem that jyp decided the group will be a global group, they are not jpop, and not limited to the japanese market, and it's better for then to promote in korea first to get more attention and recognition, they are talented and deserve that, loud is under different division and they already have a good fanbase waiting for them and ready to support them, nexz is just brand new and doesn't have that many of fans
they are not region focused. ofc they will have a bigger jp fanbase but that doesn’t change that they are a global group! it’s unfair to say they should not debut in kr because of another group?? nexz worked hard to debut too.

they’re gonna make their Japanese debut in August + they have a Japanese version of this song already.

they're. a global bg and not jpop so it is normal to promote in KR first to establish a fanbase and make them more popular.
