I am doing an online memorial service for the care homes of which I am honorary chaplain for residents who died with covid, including my mother. One of our homes is in York. I have a recording of my child as a treble singing ‘how beautiful are the feet’ from Handel’s Messiah which I want to play over some ethereal footage and a few minutes of your York scenery would be perfect. It’s a private service which will only be watched in the 18 homes across UK and also by families on 1 November.
I.m sorry for your loss, please accept my condolences. My Grandma unfortunately passed in a care home during the Covid pandemic. Therefore it would be my pleasure to allow this footage to be used for that purpose. The footage was filmed just north of Stockton Forest outside of York if anybody is curious as to its origin.
