I love this demo! I have the Specular Tempus which is probably my favourite pedal in the world and this is really inspiring for me to try some more sounds.
You cycle presets with the right footswitch or if you just want to browse algorithms within a preset and find a sound to dial in and save you can press the little mode button, each algo has a different LED colour in the top left.
Love this video, your music, and your channel. I just bought a Specular Reverb after watching this. Do you release your music? If not, you should. It's 👌
@@ponderersounds3172 I'm glad to hear that. I've had a couple of your songs stuck in my head since I watched this video. My girlfriend asked what I was listening to and tried finding it using SoundHound. 😆
Hey man cool channel. I have a vague question. Getting back into playing guitar and looking for a reverb for playing live. Which reverb pedal gives you the impression of professional studio sound the most? I know it's all preference but if you were to pick one reverb and play a live show and you wanted to help yourself sound like studio sound which reverb pedal would you pick? Or top 3 :p
Hey thanks for watching! Well, if I needed multiple reverbs on the fly I’d choose the Specular Reverb/Specular Tempus or Empress Reverb, or for a simpler format I’d grab the Walrus Slö. So many good options out there.
If you are running into it mono you can just run out of the left out, if you run into it in stereo and want to sub to mono you need a summing cable or a summing box.
That’s a hard choice... what’s the scenario? One is stereo one isn’t, one has staples as well as experimental where the other is largely focused on experimental only, one has a much more accompaniment approach where as the other is a more conventional unit... for me these would go in entirely different positions in a signal chain.
@@ponderersounds3172 Thanks for your answer! So you think the Slö is a more conventional unit? My plan is to use it with a fuzz but I like ambient also to create cool atmospheres. Also for some reason I haven't seen anyone demo any reverb GFI with fuzz or high gain distortion. Greetings
I used this pedal religiously, it's never off and it just sounds amazing. This is my style of playing though the specular reverb using a Jc40 ruclips.net/video/vmenYrtZ4Mo/видео.html
THE END IS SOMETHING OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Yeah that was a fun ending for sure 🤘🏼
This pedal has been a keeper for me. What’s even better tho is your playing. That makes the demo so much better.

Thanks so much, I aim to inspire!
@@ponderersounds3172 i was wondering what you're using to make that awesome sound at 6.20. Is it a synth or a synth pedal?
It’s a combination of soft synths and some Korg Minilogue
How do you change algorithms?

if i want to use this mono(cause not have stereo mixer), do you need a TRS balanced out cable ? or jd TS

just found out about reverb pedals besides spring\plate type,astonishing...
Oh boy, you’re about to go down the rabbit hole 🕳 🐇
Love those sounds! I hope I see what you are playing. 😅😔
🤫
Hello! Between this reverb and the Walrus Slö, which one will you go for? Thanks!

Nah, I consider the Specular reverb more conventional, Slö is a great choice for ambient/Shoegaze, it’ll go great with some fuzz too 👍🏼
@@ponderersounds3172 Thanks! this helps me a lot :) Greetings!
