The old me listening to this song would go through so much emotion. Even thinking of getting out. Not anymore.. One day as I was sitting in my room alone, late at night the noise in my head the world. I just sat there for awhile and then something just clicked, then suddenly for the first time the world just went quiet, listening to my breathing and heartbeat looking around. The realization I’m here and a to believe and still believe I’m here for a reason. Now the new me listening to these kind of beautiful music soothes me, makes me think of the preciousness of all forms of life. I want to be that hope for those who need a helping a hand getting back up. I know in my heart I can’t just tell people what to do, but only be a guide and a perspective as I realize only we ourselves can save ourself. People just come into our lives as a lesson. We are our only hope, but once we realize this.. We can give hope to others.
A thoughtful story. I find the opposite helps me though. I choose having zero friends or people in my life. I have had much experience in my life as a tv news cameraman (retired) seen so much around the world. I am eternally grateful for my experiences I lost my wife of 25yrs 5yrs ago - no kids. I live alone in a very rural place. Making friends etc... would completely undo the solitary work I've done on myself, it's not selfish but a blessing that I am extremely comfortable with myself and being alone. Music like this can still root out deep emotions that linger in there and may take lifetime after lifetime, to eradicate whatever is held inside of us that we have yet to know about.
