It’s ironic that California wants to go all electric but has one of the weakest power grids to support everybody charging up their cars and other batteries. I love the videos you do! (And the voices!!)

Stihl with a ap300s battery i can trim a 13ac property with 45 trees plus an oversized detached barn-garage in about four hours and only use two batteries. To be fair tho.i have for batteries two for the trimmer two for the pole saw. The fast charging system emplys two chargers. Only takes less then thirty minutes to charge ready for the next job.

Milwaukee trimmer does great. Even though it takes multiple charges, it has become a reminder for me to take a break, get some water. When i had my Shindaiwa (now owned by Echo) i would just keep going and going until I had heat exhaustion.

I have that same string trimmer! I only purchased it because it came in a kit with the blower, 8.0’battery and rapid charger. I only wanted the blower, so I figured I would sell string trimmer, until I used it one time. It was my first time using a string trimmer and and I actually think it’s fun to use. Even though I don’t have any property to use it on.

Love mine, works great. I can bang out 1/5th acre with 2 6 amps. I've fallen down hillsides onto it several times lol and the attachments are great. The hedge trimmer is a little cumbersome so is the polesaw because of weight but I can complain as its a lot bigger compared to every other brand.

I have an older Ryobi 18v that isn't balanced well so it is awkward to hold. It cannot cut heavy stuff, but after fighting 2 stroke trimmers, I will not go back. I just can't let the grass get too wild. I've never ran out of battery while using it.
When it doesn't work anymore, I'll probably get an Ego.

  • @kaydotz

DeWalt string trimmers are not at all hard to load lol.
Landscaping tools like blowers I'm a little iffy on making the battery leap, but I've made the switch for my string trimmer and couldn't be happier! Your only limit is your batteries, and for that the DeWalt platform has a multi-port fast charger. Hedge trimmers are also great for batteries, my Stihl one works brilliantly. I've also got their mini pruning chainsaw. Batteries are the future of landscaping imo

And it said they had gas powered chainsaws in stock but they were not on the shelf. You have to place an order online for pickup at that Home Depot….. but yes they are trying to make it very difficult for anyone to own new gas powered anything

Also all of the real estate markets in other states are drunk on all of the California money coming is so home prices are though the roof
