    Love watching how you used the bolts to keep both halves lined up. Great idea. Now where can I find 2 so I can do my 3000 clutch 😊 keep up the good work

    I spent a lot of time in the seat of those old Fords. There were times when I wished that they would break down, but they always seemed to start and run.

    Hi! I hate to ask, however, what is the correct way to change a clutch/pto clutch in a 6080 allis chalmers. The service manual is very vague. Thanks Dave

      It would be similar to this one but a 6080 has Fiat style clutch so if you can find a video of a Fiat clutch job that would be a good guide. Thanks for watching!

    Could you please tell me what you torque the presssure plate bolts to

      I don't have a spec for that, I go with 1/4 turn before it breaks. 😁 Thanks for watching!

    Good day from Ontario. Good video. That pressure plate assembly looked awful heavy for 30 hp tractor? Thanks

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  2 года назад +1

      It's a 2 stage pressure plate so there is a captive PTO disk inside making it a lot thicker than a regular single clutch pressure plate. Tractors also need a fair bit of clamping force because of the low end torque required on a lot of the pulling jobs. Thanks for watching!

    1st farmer I worked for as a kid broke me of riding the clutch pedal by slapping me in the back of the head, didn't take long for me to learn to keep my foot off the clutch pedal.

      LOL, that's one way to learn, but it is an important lesson. Thanks for watching!

    How many hours did that take?

      That has been a bit but I think around 6-8 hours roughly. Thanks for watching!
