Season 11 of Price is Right. Air Date: Thursday January 20th 1983. Jane plays PLINKO for chance at winning $25,000 dollars in cash!! She got all five chips!! Jane wins $7,100 dollars.
Air date: January 20, 1983. Pricing Game Lineup: Range Game, Plinko!, Take Two, Safe Crackers, Grocery Game, Dice Game. This is Plinko’s third playing and the first playing using the Plinko sign at the back of the audience and the current ‘WIN’ cards and also the last time Bob calls the chips ‘Plinko discs’, the next playing on January 25, Bob calls them ‘Plinko chips’, which Drew still refers to them as today.
I was on a recent episode of The Price Is Right and created a video with clips from my appearance but the video is blocked and there are copyright strikes. How were you able to post yours? They also turned off monetization for my video. This sucks!
I wonder if they had different pegs or if the chips were made of different material in the early years of Plinko? I ask because the sound of them hitting the pegs isn’t as… the best word I can think to describe it is “metallic“; Well either that, or “hollow“. Really hope to see the playing of Plinko from 1990 when the contestant got four of the five chips in the $5000 slot.
The Plinko game was one of my favorites on the show. What about the Mountain Climber and the Range Finder?😃👍
i liked the mountain climber and another one they don't have anymore is hurdles
I love the Barker era! I wish he was still on the show
Better music too
I know. Me too. 😢
He’s 98 years old.
And Johnny Olson!
@@ec1628 Johnny Olson would be 110 if still alive.
Couldn't call my mom between 11:00 and 12:00. Hard to compete with Bob Barker.

Congratulations Jane! She won $7,100 playing Plinko on the Price is Right!
You tell her, Darren!
Adjusting for inflation that's over 22,000 in today's money.
I miss the old Plinko cue.
That needs to be brought back under Drew Carey - and with inflation, the top prize for Plinko should also get raised to $75,000 or even $100,000.
Thanks for sharing this clip. I would call this a feel-good moment.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Well, if it isn't Michael "Technical Win" Taylor himself. This is weird. You're not calling this a technical win.
That was a lot of money back then! Great videos. I miss Bob so much.
Sure was. $7,100 back then is over $19,000 today.
I miss him too. I wouldn't had been mad if they had ended TPIR upon his retirement
@@verlinden80 that's what they should've done in the first place.
not that much money
@@taronjeroneharris1313 If I remember, most of the time Plinko Chips are usually dropped in the Center.
