Yo I don’t usually follow BYU or Utah but this game was insane!!! Hard to believe this was the Utah team that lost to TCU and UH. Much different team we saw, but BYU still pulled it off. Too close of a game eesh.
@caleblarsen5490 and why no screen plays? The answer to teams that blitz a lot is a tightend screen not stand in the pocket and let your QB run for his life 50% of the plays. Burn them on a few screens and they'll stop blitzing. In my opinion we don't see enough inside slants in this situation either. There are ways to stop the blitz and our O coordinator just didn't. If you let your linemen work that hard all game they are going to be worn out by the end.
@chadnordhoff9591 true. Maybe A Rod knows something we don't. Maybe they don't have those in the playbook. Maybe they aren't very good at them. Or maybe he's incompetent (I highly doubt that.) But it still stands that they got blitzed a lot.
The other comments here are wrong. The reason he pointed that out is because Jake has thrown for exactly 218 yards for like 2-3 games in a row which is just an insane coincidence
Sitake called timeout before the play got off. The ref fumbled with his whistle for a few seconds before he blew it, which allowed the play to get off. It was human error.
Please complain about this until next year as you dwell at the bottom of the conference hahaha the whole conference must know Ute football for what it is
Didn’t realize the refs were responsible for you doing jack shit on offense in the 2nd half. I guess they did spot you guys points in the first half with that facemask and that roughing call. Sorry they didn’t do more for you in the 2nd half.
Neutral Mindset! Incredible attitude Will, Thank you!
For being that young, he’s the man! We love you man.
Go cougars!!!… I was up until midnight but it was worth it!

Will Ferrin has ice in his veins
Veins
OMG, What a game, wow very triller 6:34 🤗🏈💪🏻🙌😊
it feels like will ferrin will kick on sundays right?
He’ll at least get a try out
He'll need more 50+ yard FGs...gotta show you can hit those consistently to be in the NFL. Only 1 roster spot for a kicker per team
Thank goodness for IRON WILL!!! 44 yard kick by 44 IRON WILL!!!
Ferrin's Fantastic Finish
The Retzler and "Big Game BIll!"
I was a little disappointed with the O line. Jake was running for his life most of the time.
Utahs DEs are excellent, the line wasn’t great, but this is the toughest test they’ll face this regular season
What the guy above said AND the U blitzed on over 50% of the plays. Our o-line was TIRED by the end.

@caleblarsen5490 I'm sure there's a good explanation. I coached at the indoor league at the U years ago and it ruined football for me.
Humble confidence. Good job guys.
I didn't understand the last this Jake said regarding 218 and 219. Can anyone here help me out?
I think it was just a comment on his throwing stat.
He threw for 219 yards, not 218 like the paper said. So he was joking around about not forgetting that one yard.

@chase3rd1 thank you
All’s Ferrin love and war…
The referees in the last 2 minutes favored BYU. You can’t call a time out after the ball was in play. Bad calls.
It was definitely a good game.
Yes, it was a good game.
Stake called timeout before the ball was snapped.

Trump presidency and a BYU natty?!?!? I dont know if can take so much winning!!!!!
Surprised they didn't have the officiating crew out there talking about their successful closing drive. SMH didn't even interview the MVP of the game.
Ute tears are great
What you gonna do about it? Bad call, good call, who cares? It happened. They called it.

Woah I just rode in on Utah fan tears….
