      I cut my hand open multiple times well trying to remove the IO shield from an old HP computer one time 💀

    Had no problem when i was instaling io shield. Never knew it was a problem.

    Mention the grounding tabs too! Push the big ones in so they don't block your ports like in the vid!

      Nah mate, mine were already gone after i first opened the sidepanel of a cheap case

    I usually never use it because I can never get it to line up properly, but my new motherboard has it built into the IO, so it's far easier to get lined up lol

    From now on I'm going to make it a point to use ONLY motherboards that have an *integrated* I/O shield.
    My H670M-ITX/ax didn't have one, and I had a _really_ difficult time getting it to snap all the way in.
    (I thought my ham-handedness was going to damage the thing, but it FINALLY snapped into place! 🤣)

    Nah just don't, it works perfectly AND doesn't fuck up the usb ports in the back

    I missed that out once 🤣 and i have cut my fingers a few times, they are sharp AF , cuts deep too

    How do you remove the shield from the motherboard first and then install it? I cant figure out how to get it off the motherboard.
