People often times underestimate Sapnap but I feel like the Manhunts really show what a good player he is. He can easily hold himself against Dream. Dream has already said it before how he is the most scared of Sapnap during manhunts and I can definitely see it. Sapnap knows he can die a lot yet Dream can not so he isn't scared and charges with confidence and full speed. On top of that the others realise that Sapnap is without a doubt skilled to a similar level as Dream (you see it here and during for example MCC). Since they realise they usually let Sapnap lead the charge and make sure to fully armour him up. I love seeing that confidence in Sapnap because truth be told, if there is anyone that can beat him, it would be Sapnap.
in the dream v 2, it was Sapnap who blocked Dream's water off dooming him. If not for Goggy killing him, Sapnap's plan would of worked but his pearl's went to Dream and what followed was "GeOrGe YoU IDIOT!!!!!"

What it does is that they click on it, and it points towards wherever Dream is in the moment they click on it, and then it stays locked on that point even if Dream moves. And it stays there until they click it again to track his new position. However, if Dream is in a different dimension, it says a message along the lines of "the person you're finding cannot be tracked", and then deletes the old place that the compass was tracking and makes it spin since it's not tracking anything anymore. So all of the hunters saw that Dream went to the Nether, and thought that he was still in there and that if they clicked on the Compass, it would just erase their last record of where he was, and it would be harder to find him, so none of them clicked on the compass in the time they were getting ready to go to the Nether

What I don't understand is why would they risk dropping a water bucket when obviously they would've had to acknowledge he can clutch it, and he dropped it when they were all separated from the tower, sloppy but I'm wondering if it was on purpose... 6:01 dream wasn't dumb, he had to tower up coz he ran out of hunger and he was low and couldn't sprint and the hunters were really close to him he would've died if he didn't towered up
21:25 The reason why they aren't checking the compass is because they think he's in the neither. When a person is in the Nether, the compass in the Overworld guides to the Portal to the Nether. They also don't wanna go in because they fear that it may also be a trap. It's really just psychology by both sides. Dreams winning it at the moment
that's not true, compass doesnt work like that, they have to click it to show his LAST LOCATION, it doesn't point to him 24/7 and also when he is in diffirent dimension and they click the compass , the compass will tell "no player to track" and start spinning like normal compass in the nether losing his last location, thats why none of them click it becouse they all would lose his last location so it will be even harder to find his nether portal, almost the same happend in the bastion (he explained it in his stream analysis)

But a LOT of people doesn't know how the compass works (no idea why) and say weird stuff so maybe thats why. He explained a little how the compass works in his last stream where he made an analysis of the manhunt (not sure if it was at the nether confusion or at the bastion tho)

The easiest way to explain it is that any minecraft seed is a string of numbers that the game uses to generate the world, and the algorithm happens to use the same part of the number to figure out where to put clay in rivers and to place diamond ore. The bucket spam trick is something that's been in the game for a very long time, though I don't know how often people use it. It might have been more common before 1.13, since that's when they changed the oxygen mechanic. Dream is barely pulling back the bow, what happens is he has a punch 2 bow, he shoots up slighly and the punch 2 arrow hits himself and hes taking a slight negative of glowing and a tiny bit of damage from the arrow shot, however it also acts just like as if someone else shot him, so he gets boosted by his own arrow, this act is called Bow Boosting and is used alot across alot of different means
Awesome reaction. It's like watching manhunt with a friend. Which is nice because my friends don't like minecraft lol. This was my all time favorite series on RUclips. I would rather watch manhunt than most TV shows. So sad to see it end but I think Dream has something equally as good planned next and I can't wait to see what that is.
I just noticed in Sapnap's first engagement with Dream, he had full diamond armour minus a helmet, but when he jumped into the void, the only armour he was wearing was a diamond helmet Coincidence?? Yes
I don't know how many remember this. But buckets used to be great before the aquatic update.air bubbles used to replenish to full instantly the second you're in air. So instead of spamming the buckets, you just have to use it once and you're back to full air. I'm honestly surprised not many do spamming, me included. Then again ocean expeditions aren't that common unless you're in end game.

Therefore if he goes to the nether, they don't want to update the compass so they have his last known location which might lead them to his portal. When the hunters got to the nether, they clicked their compass to update it which then showed "No players to track.", that's when they knew he actually wasn't there.
I loved this manhunt so much! Amazing way to end the series. I watched the premiere with a friend of mine through Discord, we were on the edge of our seats so hard 😂 I cheered and screamed so much too So many twists, and tense moments
The part where he threw random stuff at the ground before he exploded them with the TNT he explained that he did that to distract the hunters so they wouldn't look up. That's why he threw somewhat good stuff like swords, axes, anvils, slimeballs so the hunters would look away or look in their inventories.
The water bucket trick is an old one and the reason you haven't seen it yet is probably because we now have a better way of creating water pockets using doors (way more secure and easy than that bucket trick) so no one is really using it anymore
The reason why Dream was flying to the End City wasn't because he wanted the elytra. It was actually because he wanted the loot. There was tons of food (chorus fruit) and armor in the End Cities. It was diamond armor, weapons, and other things that would've put him on the same level as Sapnap and the rest of the hunters. Why did Sapnap drop his water bucket at the beginning? It was because the hunters wanted to flood the bottom with water. Dream had no sprint or hunger, and they knew that, and if you didn't know, you're very slow in water, especially if not fully submerged. So he would be moving slower than normal, even without sprint, and they could easily corner him and kill him. After all, he had low health (the hunters didn't know that), no food, and he was practically stranded on his dirt tower. So Bad and Ant went to the river to get more water, and Sam was going to make an infinite water source. Turns out, the sand below him fell, and now Sapnap was kinda the only one to chase Dream, although, he was stranded. The water bucket thing (like everyone has said) has been a thing for years. The second you leave water, your bubbles refill by 1. So if he continued to just pick up the water, then place it back, he could refill his air. The hunter's compass isn't exactly normal. When the hunters click on it, it shows the current direction of Dream, and it would hold that direction until they clicked on it again, even if he wasn't in that direction. And if they tried to track Dream while he was in a different dimension, it would say "The player you're tracking cannot be tracked", and so they lose the checkpoint of where he was before. So to find his portal, the hunters had to keep that direction, since they thought he was in the nether. So that's why at 18:21, 40:29, and when they lost him when he was below them, they were confused. Finally, at the end, when Dream dropped tons of good stuff, that was because he wanted the hunters to look away, or be stuck in their inventory so they couldn't see Dream place the tnt and light it. Because normally they would've thought, "oh, he's throwing away junk". But if they say that it was actually good stuff, they would've checked for it, and Dream could've placed the tnt.
he towered cuz he didnt have sprint theres a strat called diamond dousing where you can find diamonds really easily with clay patch generation (idk why i didnt predict this beforehand lol) the bucket spam is not knew its just not alot of people did it also you cant get diamonds from ruined portals lol they werent looking for dream himself cuz they were looking for the portal cuz they think dream is still in the nether. you wont be looking for the portal in a wall if theres a cave around you seems like you dont get towerring. towerring is a way to buy time for yourself when you need to do something like smelting, its also to get the high ground against enemies if u time it correctly the arrow can hit you and with punch youll go alot farther
I've been watching and enjoying all manhunts, even before they were called "manhunt". Every episode is dynamic, full of next-level skills and hi-IQ thinking for getting away, making traps and getting leverage over the opponent/s. Guys are funny, but also very skilled and no one likes to lose, especially rivalry between Dream and Sapnap.

Just some information. The bucket breathinng is an old trick but people are not using it cause normmaly you are not hunted by 5 hunters, so its easier to just make a door in survival or something. Also if you hold down click for a VERY short time with a bow you basiccaly shoot yourself, (hypixel says even has a task to shoot yourself with an arrow) because punch 2 has a super op knockback when dream shot himself he was basiccaly flying, i think people used this before elytras but im not sure about that. Hope this helped clear some things 😁
The clay trick is a generation thing that apparently still works on 1.18. It works with clay patches in rivers, lakes, and swamps, but a little different for each. Basically, when you find a clay patch, start at the middle, go a few blocks south (something like that I don't remember exactly), and then dig down and there's a high chance for diamonds. Also, make sure if you hit a chunk border, go to the opposite side, and continue counting from there. Edit: Yes, I realize I'm late, but hey, more I guess some more elaboration/details Also Sapnap best hunter definitely

probably has the settings to just let you hear blocks break. Turn off mob sounds, music sounds etc. Put game subs on and you can hear just blocks.

In older versions, entering an air pocket would instantly refill your air, but as of the Aquatic Update, it regenerates slowly. This would have made the bucket spam work quite a bit differently, since one click was all it would take in older versions.
Dream used something called Bow Boosting in the nether. It involves firing an arrow from a Punch bow at a very low speed and a specific angle, while moving forward, which allows you to shoot yourself in the back and launch yourself forward with the Punch effect. Elytra were introduced in 1.9, but you couldn't boost with fireworks until 1.11. Before then, people used bow boosting instead to propel themselves when flying.

Dream is barely pulling back the bow, what happens is he has a punch 2 bow, he shoots up slighly and the punch 2 arrow hits himself and hes taking a slight negative of glowing and a tiny bit of damage from the arrow shot, however it also acts just like as if someone else shot him, so he gets boosted by his own arrow, this act is called Bow Boosting and is used alot across alot of different means

Awesome reaction. It's like watching manhunt with a friend. Which is nice because my friends don't like minecraft lol. This was my all time favorite series on RUclips. I would rather watch manhunt than most TV shows. So sad to see it end but I think Dream has something equally as good planned next and I can't wait to see what that is.

I don't know how many remember this. But buckets used to be great before the aquatic update.air bubbles used to replenish to full instantly the second you're in air. So instead of spamming the buckets, you just have to use it once and you're back to full air. I'm honestly surprised not many do spamming, me included. Then again ocean expeditions aren't that common unless you're in end game.

@@HotSauceBeats yep, and before the aquatic update. The ocean was so blank. No kelp, no fish, no dolphins, no shipwrecks, not even seagrass. Just gravel, sand, squids and the occasional ocean monument. It was also the first big update Mojang had done since going out of popularity for years.
He explained in the live stream that the compass only updates when the hunters click it. Therefore if he goes to the nether, they don't want to update the compass so they have his last known location which might lead them to his portal. When the hunters got to the nether, they clicked their compass to update it which then showed "No players to track.", that's when they knew he actually wasn't there.

The water bucket trick is an old one and the reason you haven't seen it yet is probably because we now have a better way of creating water pockets using doors (way more secure and easy than that bucket trick) so no one is really using it anymore
The reason why Dream was flying to the End City wasn't because he wanted the elytra. It was actually because he wanted the loot. There was tons of food (chorus fruit) and armor in the End Cities. It was diamond armor, weapons, and other things that would've put him on the same level as Sapnap and the rest of the hunters.
Why did Sapnap drop his water bucket at the beginning? It was because the hunters wanted to flood the bottom with water. Dream had no sprint or hunger, and they knew that, and if you didn't know, you're very slow in water, especially if not fully submerged. So he would be moving slower than normal, even without sprint, and they could easily corner him and kill him. After all, he had low health (the hunters didn't know that), no food, and he was practically stranded on his dirt tower. So Bad and Ant went to the river to get more water, and Sam was going to make an infinite water source. Turns out, the sand below him fell, and now Sapnap was kinda the only one to chase Dream, although, he was stranded.
The water bucket thing (like everyone has said) has been a thing for years. The second you leave water, your bubbles refill by 1. So if he continued to just pick up the water, then place it back, he could refill his air.
The hunter's compass isn't exactly normal. When the hunters click on it, it shows the current direction of Dream, and it would hold that direction until they clicked on it again, even if he wasn't in that direction. And if they tried to track Dream while he was in a different dimension, it would say "The player you're tracking cannot be tracked", and so they lose the checkpoint of where he was before. So to find his portal, the hunters had to keep that direction, since they thought he was in the nether. So that's why at 18:21, 40:29, and when they lost him when he was below them, they were confused.
Finally, at the end, when Dream dropped tons of good stuff, that was because he wanted the hunters to look away, or be stuck in their inventory so they couldn't see Dream place the tnt and light it. Because normally they would've thought, "oh, he's throwing away junk". But if they say that it was actually good stuff, they would've checked for it, and Dream could've placed the tnt.

seems like you dont get towerring. towerring is a way to buy time for yourself when you need to do something like smelting, its also to get the high ground against enemies

I've been watching and enjoying all manhunts, even before they were called "manhunt". Every episode is dynamic, full of next-level skills and hi-IQ thinking for getting away, making traps and getting leverage over the opponent/s. Guys are funny, but also very skilled and no one likes to lose, especially rivalry between Dream and Sapnap.

Just some information.
The bucket breathinng is an old trick but people are not using it cause normmaly you are not hunted by 5 hunters, so its easier to just make a door in survival or something. Also if you hold down click for a VERY short time with a bow you basiccaly shoot yourself, (hypixel says even has a task to shoot yourself with an arrow) because punch 2 has a super op knockback when dream shot himself he was basiccaly flying, i think people used this before elytras but im not sure about that. Hope this helped clear some things 😁

The clay trick is a generation thing that apparently still works on 1.18. It works with clay patches in rivers, lakes, and swamps, but a little different for each. Basically, when you find a clay patch, start at the middle, go a few blocks south (something like that I don't remember exactly), and then dig down and there's a high chance for diamonds. Also, make sure if you hit a chunk border, go to the opposite side, and continue counting from there.

Dream had no sprint and 3 hearts at the start, he literally HAD to go up or theyd catch him and hed lose. Bucket spam has been around for years, he's done it before. When he moves in the same direction it looks on the compass like hes not moving hence confusion. U gotta watch the other manhunts since you've not seen those and the sidemen Europe vid too.
