There is a lot of junk here 😅 I feel like I’ve gotten the feel for finding the good stuff among it. It’s not about knowing all the brands but being able to feel the nice fabrics and spot the high quality pieces.
I went to my local fav thrift shop yesterday and found a black Joseph Ribkoff jacket with lace/sequins. Size said 10 and thought it was too big, so didn’t try it at the time. I decided to look up the brand and prices for something that was plainer cost from the $100.00 to over $300.00s. I went back and tried it on and it fit perfectly. No vanity sizing back then. Tag looked vintage. I paid $7.00. I also got a genuine leather belt with grommets and a beaded design on it for $8.00. Plus a few other small things. Happy shopping day.
@@CuratedbyNatalie I used to pronounce it the same way! 😂 I first read the word in a book when I was a kid so I guessed how to pronounce it and just ran with it lol

It seems really quality. I had never heard of it before. The reason I said it doesn’t seem coveted is more so related to the fact they it doesn’t seem to hold it’s value in the resell market. I saw lots of their pants on ThredUp for less than $20. 👀
I have learned the feel of nice fabrics silk, quality linen / cotton, wool / cashmere, etc… Same thing with the construction of pieces. Quality pieces have seams that are nicely sewn with no loose threads, they typically have more details like tailoring, real pockets, working buttons, etc. Let me know if that helps 💕 it’s definitely something you learn to feel / look for over time.
The Brunello was basically free at $20. Total steal!
Wowsa those Frank Lyman pants look like they were custom made for you!! Fyi as a Canadian... we love Frank ❤

It is not a cheap brand.
How do you learn about what type of fabric feel you should be searching for?

Wow, now that’s a great haul. Zadig pants new with tags, amazing….and the cinq de sept pants. Biggest score was the Cuccinelli skirt!
Truly! I think this may have been my favorite haul
It’s actually not pronounced Epitome - it’s pronounced Eh Pit O Mee
I know it doesnt look it but trust me 🙏🏻❤️
Hi friend
Do you want an intro, outro, banner, thumbnail?
Enough with the hands
No way, I like her hand gestures
Seriously? People talk with their hands.
