I was drinking myself to death in a bar in New Appleoosa, just as always. But then, this song came out of an old radio. A smooth, silk-voiced stallion started singing blues about the whiskey, the pain, the broken dreams... Everything so true, so sincere! I was so enchanted with the whole thing that the bartender overfilled my shot and spilled the Wild Pegasus Whiskey over the whole bar-table thinking that I've already drank it. And here I can say, that this is a darn good song, gentlecolts. Keep bringing a tear to the eyes of the old stallion, you are really good at it.
+JOrchestration clarifying just in case, I was being sarcastic. Your voicework, if that's even a word, was top notch. Too bad I've never heard of you before. Oh, well, I'll just keep a close eye on your new works now
This is something new but wow, another great song. This song feels much more Fallout 4 ish. Like something you would hear in Goodneighbor. Can´t wait for the next upcomeing release.
This is a great song, and you my friend, are amazing at singing smooth tones. Can't wait to play the game amd play this tune while I'm taking out Enclave. Hey, seems like the most appropriate timing for it.
Great Job as always guys. I liked the singers smooth buttery voice it really mellowed me out. In addition the song writer did a great job of writing the song I didn't get bored once and my attention wasn't lost. The song gives me a James Bond feel.
so i downloaded wailers radio for fallout four........and im not disappointed at all. you all are amazing at singing and making it feel like fallout still
Hot damn is this a good track. Reminds me a lot of the somber tone of Johnny Guitar but still having a nice little mood to it. Please keep these coming!
I love the classic feels from your music that it makes me feel like I'm in the 50s. Or maybe the wasteland! :D But I gotta ask, will there be more Velvet Remedy tracks in the near future?
Any chance of getting the instrumental version of this great thing? I've been singing this song ever since it came out - had a buddy killed in a car wreck last year.
+Adam Sporka Speaking of which, is there any chance the instrumentals of the other Church songs be up soon? (especially the two versions of Fly Like You, I love 'em to bits.) XD Um, also, I don't want to be "that guy" but the instrumental of Step Around looks badly clipped (over-peaked) in the left channel, you _might_ want to fix that... Just lower the amplitude of the master by about 3 or 4 dB and that would probably fix it. The acapella also seems to have a weird reverb glitch that keeps cutting in-and-out in the last few lines, from about "Could it be our whole life's about to start" until the end of the song. Sorry for criticizing an otherwise amazing piece of work, just some technical bugs but the song itself is brilliant. XD
baltoist nah I wouldn't assume it's Calamity, "For Sun and Moon and Country, it ends we all go home" this is the ballad of a lead pony that lost his wing mare in combat when the two were blown out of the sky. Survivor's Guilt to the max.
for sun and moon and country it ends we all go home; one mortar shell shot that to hell; also the repeated use of 'wingmare' in reference to a pilot's wingman: all the signs point to military, specifically navy (aircraft), army (helos), or air force (that ones pretty obvious).
+norad2terran Great question! Both! War takes the body and the heart, and this character survived when their Zephyr, their love, died for them. Are they still whole? Can they still live as they once did? Would they want to? That's kind of where the song comes in.

Holy fuck, that VOICE.
+SilveRef92 I'm hoping that means I did alright? :P
+JOrchestration eh, it was acceptable.
Fair enough - Passing is passing, after all
+JOrchestration clarifying just in case, I was being sarcastic. Your voicework, if that's even a word, was top notch. Too bad I've never heard of you before. Oh, well, I'll just keep a close eye on your new works now
+SilveRef92 Haha! I got that initially. I was being sarcastic in my reply as well :P

can any one else imagine Stonewing from project horizons singing this and the 'treatment' he recives is project Chimera
and becoming Gorgan

Beautiful blues, for a depressing wasteland.
God his voice... beeyoutiful.
man! if they ever create a real fallout Equestria radio i would listen to it
gearfox7 way late on this, but if you didn't know they have a wasteland wailers radio mod! Sounds like it's still on Bethesda.net.
now do a duet that would be awesome
This was quite good, thanks for it. I do really hope you have more songs by Brittney Church in future. Those made me subscribe.
+Hans Smirnov Wednesday! :-)
+Hans Smirnov We posted her cover of this today! Check the description of this video and follow the link to listen to it. :)
JOrchestration Oh nice! Thank you! Great work on the music, by the way!
Gandhi Approves
I love the classic feels from your music that it makes me feel like I'm in the 50s. Or maybe the wasteland! :D
But I gotta ask, will there be more Velvet Remedy tracks in the near future?
+Night_Dice The answer is right there in the video. Check again :)
Eyup, it sure is! :-)
+IvoryKeysADSR Hahahaha, I am blind! With a capital B! Damn, but thanks for pointing that out man! :)
+IvoryKeysADSR I don't see it...
Gearhead Gears It's announced at about 3 minutes into the song. Good point. I'll put the announcement sooner.
So I take it that this song was the one called "Zephyr" in the song previews right?
+Sky Breeze Yes, this is the one.
Holy shit I'm the 14th one here!
Silk ain't this smooth, amazing.
Any chance of getting the instrumental version of this great thing? I've been singing this song ever since it came out - had a buddy killed in a car wreck last year.
The download on soundcloud is missing.
+fun1k Amended! Sorry! :-)
+Adam Sporka Speaking of which, is there any chance the instrumentals of the other Church songs be up soon? (especially the two versions of Fly Like You, I love 'em to bits.) XD

Anybody have the lyrics written down?
+Nathan Vincent We will post them, thank you! :-)
+Adam Sporka thanks, mate!
Calamity?
baltoist nah I wouldn't assume it's Calamity, "For Sun and Moon and Country, it ends we all go home" this is the ballad of a lead pony that lost his wing mare in combat when the two were blown out of the sky. Survivor's Guilt to the max.

@@Shogunelite The wing mare he lost is also the one he loved. "Six feet under's my better half".
@@omfgpainkillers it really is heart wrenching
is there a instrumental version of this?
+xx007xx51 In the making :-)
so is the instrumental ready yet ?
Hugo was here
Goodbye Pork Pie Hat?
The song character, was he/she actually crippled, or is it metaphorical, saying he/she was broken and grounded from the pain of losing Zephyr? Both?
+norad2terran Great question!
Both! War takes the body and the heart, and this character survived when their Zephyr, their love, died for them. Are they still whole? Can they still live as they once did? Would they want to?
That's kind of where the song comes in.
+JOrchestration Yeah, it ends with the guy saying that's he's going to commit suicide right? (via alcohol poisoning :) )
am i the only one who thinks of stone wing from project horizons when i listen to this song
p.s atleast i think thats his name
It reminds me more of Jetstream actually.
Who are the 3 people who disliked??!
Needs record "pops"...
This is a really well made song, but it's just not my style of music. Still really well made though!
I did Nazi this coming
