Is it also ok to wear a single or double braid under this? My hair is too long and heavy to put in a bun without hurting my neck. I want to wear this to a Ren Faire and be authentic. The rest of my outfit is a cream chemise, yellow under skirt, dark blue over skirt, and a lace up bodice/vest. As a married woman I know need a headcover and this seems the simplest and most comfortable way to wear it that I have seen.
Hi there! I think the back veil style is a great foil for long braids! Between the knots, the tails, underscarf, theres a lot going on back there! I like the style here, you dont have to worry too much about hair placement. Also, I stumbled on a long sleep cap, satin lined, adjustable, colors, a great undercap for protecting your hair and a long veil in back will cover it! Hope that gives you some ideas.😃
I’m currently wearing this style with double braids underneath because it’s a more protective style for my curly hair, it works the same, but it’s not as pretty because the bun helps it look fuller in the back. If you don’t mind that though, then double braids is fine! :) your outfit sounds beautiful and I know your comment was a while ago so, I hope you had fun at the renaissance festival!
As a Muslim, this is helpful to have a little fun with my veil, thanks
Nice!! Thank you!
Update, sometimes I use thick ponytail elastic to tie the tails in back. Easy on the fabric, adjustable, not as bulky.
I love this wrap! I am Christian, but we still veil in church, and this wrap is a beautiful veil!
Can you link a video showing how to do a veil with a rectangular scarf? I didn't see one.
GREAT VIDEO TODAY..HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND
I think I'll enjoy this one for Renaissance cosplay
Lovely wrap! I hace to try!
Fabulous! I'm gonna try this!
Thanks I've been looking for a way too shorten my tails

Beautiful head wrap 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you, I really enjoyed this!

This is so cute!! Would this look alright using the signature on the bottom?!
Love this!!!
What do you do with your hair? Just put it in a bun?
I do that and then cover it with a headband
You can put your hair in a bun, then put on a shaper also called volumizer on top of your hair. Wrapunzel.com has shapers of different sizes.
Tysm! ❤
So I have been doing vails with out even knowing I do this to wrap my hair at night lol
Love this! 💓
