Seri! Seri! In a previous episode, FogSpeckle was developing a crush on grumpy ol' ChestnutStalk and now ChestnutStalk is developing a crush on FogSpeckle! They could be a sweet old couple - I could see them being like the Clan's adopted grandparents!
I could for sure see that! My two older cats Larcheye (M) and Loudmoon (F) I like to think are Maple Clan's adopted grandparents! They helped to train a lot of the early apprentices. Unfortunately, their son Freckleshade died in an accident at 19 moons...

@@StarseekertheNightwing13 My original clan, Maple Clan that I talked about above, is huge! They have I think 6 pages of cats. The only downside to that is the game doesn't always give you alerts, so some of my cats have ended up in Star Clan without the game telling me why. If you want a large Clan, I'd say go for it!

I have a clan where EVERY kit has bitten an older cat's tail at least once. It has become a right of passage tradition.
I also had a vengeful she-cat named Flamefoot who started ritually killing elders because her mate Softstrike died young. She can't have anymore kits because her mate is gone, and she didn't want to take another mate, so she ritually sacrifices elders to bless the clan with kits. She made the mistake of killing the elder medicine cat Midgeburr and his mate, and through a glitch he reincarnated into Flintkit, who is his grandson. I accidently deleted this clan, and I'm so sad I can't continue their story!

I think if a queen goes out, you should roll to see whether the _kits_ are affected. Mother cats irl leave their kittens alone all the time, because they aren't living in this fantasy communal life. But that comes at the risk of their kits starving, getting too cold, getting found by predators, etc. So it's more realistic for the kits to be affected by the queen leaving, rather than the queen herself

maybe you can keep the food challenge but it fluctuates between the season as spring month food is abundant, in summer there is a lot less food to catch due to the heat, in autumn food is lessening even more but there's no real danger, but in winter that's when food has virtually disappeared most animals have flown off or are hibernating (or torpor for bears) and thta's when food becomes a lot more valued
I *LOVE* this idea!! I may make it so the clan needs like... half the prey per number of cats in Newleaf and Leaffall, but one piece per cat during Greenleaf and Leafbare...
... and maybe *more* than that if we start doing seasonal rolls to see how hard the seasons are, like if Greenleaf has a drought or Leafbare has a blizzard and cats can't go hunting or something! Dun dun dunn!!

DARK FOREST CHALLENGE (RULES FOR MY CHALLENGE)
1) Unmated cats that can have kits, must be turned ON.
2) Leaders and deputy must have one of these personality
Blood-thirsty, Vengeful, Cold, Strict, Ambitious, Fierce, Bossy.
3) Any cat that reaches 8 leaf-bares (96 moons) is to be killed without question. Only leaders and deputies, and their mates, may extend this limit.
4) If a cat becomes an elder in any way they must be killed immediately.
5) If a cat questions, suspicious or doubts their leader or deputy in any way, they must be killed without question.
6) There is no medicine cat, if a medicine cat is to occur, they are killed without question.
7) Any cat with a "strong connection to Starclan" is to be killed without question.
8) When a kit is apprenticed they need to be sent on a patrol by themselves to drive away dogs, foxes, rogues and even loners. Even bringing new cats in so more cats join the Dark Forest.
10) if a apprentice fails to do something "good" they can retry until the end of their apprenticeship, but if they have become a warrior they have one last chance.
11) If the apprentice fails they will be killed without question.
12) newly joined members have 1 chance, if they succeed to complete their entrance exam by driving out a dog, fox, rogue, loner or convince another to join, they live, if they fail, they are killed without question (that includes any kits brought with them)
13) Experience for hunting for warriors+ (No queens can hunt or participate in a patrol, apprentices have to go by themselves or with their mentor):
Very Low- 1-4 dice is rolled.
Low- 1-4 dice is rolled.
Slightly Low- 1-4 dice is rolled.
Average- 1-6 dice is rolled.
Slightly High- 1-10 dice is rolled.
High- 1-10 dice is rolled
Master- 1-12 dice is rolled
Max- 1-12 dice is rolled.
Depending on skill will determine how much prey is gathered each patrol, Roll for each 3 cats that are on patrol.
Must feed all cats in the clan to skip a moon, if not, roll a d6:
1-3- means the clan lives to skip a moon.
4-6- means that some died. Randomize which cats died by how much prey you still needed to feed all of them. (exclude the leader, deputy, their mates. If the kits are below 4 moons skip them along with their mother)
14) When a cat has "visit medicine cats" or is found in the medicine den, roll a d6 to see if they have an illness.
1-3- they have an illness
4-6- they don't have an illness.
If illness is found then roll a d12 to find out how many herbs is needed to cure it, next time you are able, send out a patrol and use the herb system..
Experience for herb gathering for warriors+ (No queens can participate in a patrol, apprentices have to go by themselves or with their mentor):
Very Low- 1-4 die is rolled.
Low- 1-4 die is rolled.
Slightly Low- 1-4 die is rolled.
Average- 1-6 die is rolled.
Slightly High- 1-10 die is rolled.
High- 1-10 die is rolled
Master- 1-12 die is rolled
Max- 1-12 die is rolled.
Medicine cat curing system based on moons because they can't gain experience. (not for my challenge but its here just incase)
6-12 moons is equal to be able to cure cats that need only 1-4 herbs needed.
12-30 moons is equal to curing cats who need 1-6 herbs needed.
30-50 moons is equal to curing cats who need 1-10 herbs needed.
Higher than 50 moons can cure cats who need more than 10 herbs.
15) 5 moons max to cure a cat/if their is not med. Roll a d6
1-3- the sick cat lives
4-6- the sick cat dies.
16) Any cat that has/adopts a kit from outside of the clan must be killed along with the kits without question.
17) When a litter is born roll a d6 (This is because their is no medicine cat to help in the birth)
1-2 all the kits die
3-4 half the kits die
5-6 one of the kits must die
If there's only one kit
1-3 means they die
4-6 means they live.
18) Patrols must always proceed, only 3 at a time. If a patrol fails to chase away an enemy, the patrol leader dies (Except the leader, deputy and their mates or if the patrol leader has fighter as a trait or higher than average experience)
19) If a cat has visions from Starclan flip a coin. Tails means it's a Dark forest vision and they live. Heads mean it's a Starclan vision and they must be killed without question (except lead, dep or their mates).
20) Mates are given when a cat thinks about love and a d6 is rolled.
1-4 Mates are given, dice are rolled to determine what cat is given as a mate (if its a male, a she-cat must be given, if a female, a tom must be given)
5-6 Mates aren't given.
Challenge ends when there's only 1-4 cats left meaning. Starclan had stopped them.

Gullkit wouldnt let him brothers d!e in vain, even if it was is fault. He knew from then on he was meant to be a warrior, but not just any warrior, a hero. For his brother
I know what Gullkit's going through my family lost our dog and he saw my first few days and I watched his last breath
A possible suggestion about the "What happens if Queens go out" situation: What if, only after the first moon (Since it's after the first month, the kits would be weaned), you'd have the option to either keep the kit's mom *OR* dad at home in the camp, to keep watch over the kits to avoid the "Sickness roll"?"
That way, all the female cats aren't just forced into "Stay at home mom" roles, there'll be room for "Stay at home dad" characters, and also makes some insurance for if you have a brain blank and accidentally send one of the parents out by mistake, where you can just keep the other one home as a lifeline to avoid having to roll the "Sickness roll". Would also add weight to if one of the kit's parents pass away somehow, or if one of their parents is "Unknown", because then, their remaining parent might very well be FORCED to risk going out, just to get enough food...
(Bonus challenge: A roll for a chance that parent cats with super important clan jobs, such as Leader, Deputy, Medicine cat, might accidentally not pay enough attention to their kit while doing their clan duty if they're the one put in charge of watching over them at home, and having to trigger a sickness roll that way.)

I really like how you did the challenge for leaf bare! Poor Logkit though, I hope Gullkit doesn't blame himself too much.
Also, maybe you could do this for the normal seasons, and durring leaf bare, the cats only catch a fraction of the prey so the stakes are higher.

Oh Seri, just to let you know some cats can have a strong connection to Starclan, it say in their bio, like my deputy Fennelpatch, who, (for role play purposes has a connection because him mother, Lilystar wants to guide him. She died in an accident and Lilystar’s mate died due to greencough)

With kits, there are two things I do - first, if the mother is under 15 moons old when the kits are born (or the kits were found abandoned by a tom who decided be their father) the kits are frail, and every moon I roll a d10 per kit. That tells me if the kit unfortunately was stillborn (or died suddenly, after their birth moon), if they became sick (at which point they roll a d10 with a higher chance of bad potential results next moon), or if they start to grow healthier. This also applies if they're born in leaf-bare. They're at even greater risk if both apply. (I had a litter born, in leafbare, the very same moon their mother became a warrior. It was scandalous! And unfortunately, two of the three kits didn't make it past their third moon.)
Also, I learned the hard way that the thunderpath can and will do really bad things if your patrol's unlucky. I've had my cats cross them dozens of time, and they've failed twice. Both times, a previously healthy young cat had to retire to the elder's den - the first time, a promising young warrior lost a leg, and the second time, a brand new apprentice was completely paralyzed, poor guy. I don't know if monsters on the thunderpath can outright kill cats, but they can destroy a cat's future if he's unlucky.
My first deputy got paralyzed on the thunderpath! In a second clan that I just started the leader's mate became blind from the thunderpath. In my partners clan the leader lost a leg from the thunderpath (but didn't retire because leader) 😅
They're super dangerous in this game!!

Maybe the dice you use depends on the season!
During leafbare there's less prey, so the set you just used still fits.
During newleaf, in contrast, would have tons of prey, so everyone would get moved forward by one or two dice (the lowest would be a d6 or a d10).
If you move them up by two dice, then during Greenleaf and LeafFall, they would move down by one dice (so a warrior with extremely low experience would need a d4 during Leafbare, a d10 during NewLeaf, and a d6 during GreenLeaf and LeafFall)

i started playing clan-gen yesterday, and my clan already has at least 100+ cats (goodness gracious)

I also have a 100+ cats in my clan,but that's because I had 17 kits and like 13 apprentices at some point,and my cats kept pumping kittens.
I even had a litter of 6 kits at some point,though it only happened once after almost 200 moons
I think I have 3 queens that has over 10 children,and couldn't make more because they would either be dead or too old(my current leader,TawnyStar,went through 2 mates and had 12 kits,talk about keeping your legacy alive lol)

Ah this game can be so fun, especially if you use your imagination to make stories.
For example in my clan Fernclan one of my cats Sunclaw had a kit and it said he was developing a crush on another cat Lilyears that moon. I decided that would mean cats were gossiping about Lilyears being the other parent. Literally 2 moons later Lilyears has three kits, TWO of which he named Sunkit. Anyway, it’s fun, it’s hilarious, I love my dumb, gay ‘are they or are they not in a relationship’ cats.

Im in the middle of watching this, but somehow i feel like even if they dont get 23 pieces of prey, the warrior code says kits and elders should be fed first.
Seeing the experience dice mod made me think about the special traits. Like, if they have the great hunter trait, they get a +1 to their dice roll regardless of experience because they have a natural knack for hunting.
Medicine cats can’t gain experience, experience is only gained by going on patrols

Yesterday one of my cats gave birth to Wetkit, whose warrior name was Wettail. A few moons later, another kit was born, also named Wetkit. Her warrior name was also Wettail. And today a third Wetkit was born and I'm scared 💀

im kind of glad that even though a cat would have around 7 kittens in each litter in warrior cats its only 1-5 because i dont think anyone could deal with 20 kits
Maybe later When you have more cat and you meet a patrol by the border if it goes awkward you could roll the dice to se if it starts any conflict.
I just downloaded and played this yesterday after watching many people playing. Oh gosh you can get a certain event that is VERY SCARY (I haven’t watched this ep yet I’m not sure if you’ve gotten yet). I also ehem played and let my clan go without much intervention for like 30 years. It didn’t “end” well. Also if you’d like, there appears to be no limit to medicine cats or apprentice med cats although I feel the sprites do get crowded.

I adore this leaf-bare challenge! I love all of your content. PaleFlame would make a nice deputy when (or, sadly and hopefully not, if) SedgeSpeckle becomes leader. Unless something happens and they become evil or something. Also I love Chestnut X Fog! Also what if we did it every season but new-leaf? Since prey is nearly always plentiful. Or we could do something like roll a D20 or something and if it’s like 1-5 we do it during new-leaf and 6-20 we don’t. It’s whatever you decide and I’m sure all of us will love it whatever is it :)
you should add a multiplier for if a cat is a good hunter, also- were lightear and paleflame co-mentoring rookshade previously? (i think i remember paleflame being his mentor)

I am absolutely loving this series Serie! But maybe if you can get sims 3 to work again you could create these characters as alternate versions of themselves as rogues and loners and maybe kitty pets in your new sims 3 challenge? And you can see how their life would’ve been changed and how they would’ve been effected.

Hello Seri! I commented this on the second episode but since it was late I don't think you saw it ^^. Case in point, there are options that let single cats have kits and same gender couples do so to! For that fact any two cats can be mates no matter their gender, I just wanted you to know.

12:58 if you look closely, into the clearing, you might just see the legend of the 2 headed wolf live on, with the 2 headed tabby. Foxes, badgers and dogs take cover if 2 tabbies are on patrol, because rumor has it, if you mess with them, they might merge, and *end* *you.* No one knows if it's just a story elders tell so kits aren't afraid to fight, or if it's true, but what do you think? I'd say it's up to you if it's true

in my clan Pineclan, I believe the leader and the deputy had like 14 kits and I was annoyed by that, thankfully the leader is now an elder, but she would have a litter every 2 or 3 moons until then.

I can see instead of going to a bigger dice for experienced hunters doing something like 2 D6 so it's still *12* max good BUT it's a minimum hunt of *2* each time an experienced cat goes out to hunt!
For the hunting/hunger challenge you've added, I think some kits probably could be excluded since kittens are weaned around 1 month old, so newborn kits should still be drinking from their mother. It's really small in the grand scheme but yknow if you're into realism then this could be cool.

It would also make sense if you wouldn't count any prey for the 4 most recent kits, because they wouldn't be eating fresh-kill, they'd be drinking their mother's milk.

Seri, I think it would be fun and challenging if you rolled to see how hungry a cat is leafbare. If their hunger is too low, press the kill cat button. If it’s a Clan leader that’s really hungry, then they lose one of their lives

This episode was so interesting with all the generator action! However, rest in piece, sweet Logkit! Leaf-bare is so cruel in the books and if you make it that way in the game... Also, I think Reedfire is definitely proving his worth and being a Hero cat for Sunmoss Clan! I'd like to start the petition for Reedfire to be the next deputy once Berrystar hands the title of leader to Sedgespeckle! 😊
The smaller cats nead less food than big cats, and note this: mouse = 1 food, large rat = 2 food, and a rabbit = 3 food. Kits nead at least 1 food, adoults and elders nead at least 2 food, I think it works like that.

I am lowkey headcanoning now that Light is "mates" with Lightear so that Lightear and Ashshadow can have kits. Maybe Ashshadow, for some reason, cannot produce kits. Maybe Starclan were like "We see that you are trying with Lightear...but...no matter how hard you try, you can't have kits. We...are sorry." So Light steps up and is the suragent father of sort.

at my current point in the game, i have waaaay too many elders XD no kits, one apprentice, and a whole bunch of warriors. i also have a lot of cats with max experience, which surprised me

Honestly,that challenge of food is really interesting,and had me wanting to do the same!
I have a lot of cats in my clan(over a 100) and I was wondering how I could control the situation per say,because while that means they can find a lot of preys,if the luck is not on their side,they could have sick cats that won't be able to hunt etc
Plus,it bring a more roleplay instance in clan for an already really roleplay game

This is from my Clan Lynx Clan: Murk'Daisy is beginning to grow to old for the clan and soon Swift'Leaf will take over Fire'Scar feels they can't have more kits because any patients could notice she was pregnant he tries to find a way to convince her...Will this be the end of their thirst for having more kits? A lot of prey has been gathered on a big patrol enough to feed the whole clan they decide they will never go hungry and decide to make it a rule no cat can go hungry. Nothing is happening and the cats grow desperate for more kits including Fire'Scar who begs Swift'Leaf to have more kits with him but she only laughs and says no. Fire'Scar and Swift'Leaf's kits are getting annoying and some older cats yell at Fire'Scar telling him to teach the kits about behavior the kits however visit Cherry'Pond - an elder- every day because they love to here her stories soon Cherry'Pond expects them to come everyday and soon every cat is relived including the proud parents.
in one of my clans in clan gen one of the kits boulder kit found his sibling daisy kit dead in the snow when i skipped a moon
I still feel like troutbird has it out for the medicine cat’s job, he is daring so we’ll see if this idea makes it in the story

Maybe every 10 times you catch prey you can roll if a kit eats it what kit and if the prey was diseased if it is then the kit that ate it dies.
