Thanks for this.... one of the best for harmonies. I vote for God Only Knows, Darlin', O Darling, Good Vibrations; but easier acapella would be Warmth of the Sun, Don't Worry Baby, and In My Room. I Get Around is awesome harmony and progression but it has already been done well here on YT. Thanks again!
Knowing the chords makes a huge difference. Once you have a melody, it's really just about filling in the gaps to match the chord harmony. Also understanding how certain extensions sound to get the color you want when writing
@@RobCarrollMusic I can do that, as a music teacher. But I think it takes a special kind of genius to make them sound that good, rather than just "in consonance".
@@khmak9387 for sure. Whenever I break them down I'm always like oh ok it's just that but it sounds so special and magical it's hard to believe sometimes they're so simple

Awesome choices! In my room I just finished and will be posting soon. I have a version of God only knows from years ago on here but may redo that soon
@@RobCarrollMusic I'd love to here GOK
Really great to hear the individual parts. Much more intricate than we realized in our youth.
Dude, finally someone does all the harmonies separately. Do you mind doing the whole track? Or at least the opening of the song?
This is sick dude
wow!

Subscribed! Do you have the music sheet for these things anywhere available? :)
Please make a breakdown of killer queen!
Wonderful!!!
How do artists even figure out these harmonies in the first place? 🤔

great job.
Was it Mike, Carl, Al, Brian ?
or Mike, Al, Carl, Brian ?
Thank you! And I'm actually not sure about who is which part
I believe it was Mike, Dennis, Carl, Brian from bottom to top. Al was not on the Surfer Girl album.
@@scottjkennedy oh yeah, good call, although Al was on In My Room and Hawaii. I wonder if David Marks sang on Surfer Girl, though he probably didn’t
Nice, I subbed for you daddy lol
Except do them individually, not stacking them as you go.
The word is *made, not make.
