Agreed. Instead of focusing on the demo. They instead decided to focus on the presenter. I can barely see the screen with all the flickering. What a shame
I understand well about DevOps, My only query now, is how we can maintain database changes. Most of the time, we need to get the issue fixes based on Live data, which will not be available in any other environment. How DevOps, will help us to understand the database related problems.
This is a big topic. and a good question. I attended #devopsdays in Toronto 2015 and it was a big topic than. As far as I can tell thebest people are doing is "schema" in version control. There was some mention of flywaydb.org/ whic looks like a "cool tool". I also know that eveoline ( an mmorg) has their whole db in version control. But it's not a big db, like not even a gig.
I understand this is focus to client side (Amazon site), but how it works in the back office side or with Providers integration, and other internal parts likes the drones delivery. Do all teams uses this kinds of devops?
This comment is intended as a message for the DevOps evangelists at AWS ... more practical videos from the "Tools and Processes genre" would be very helpful for companies that considering fundamental changes in their SDLC. Material like this helps for execs and decisionmakers to connect the dots before deciding to re-deploy staff and go "all in" on AWS. www.businessinsider.com/netflix-intuit-juniper-go-all-in-on-amazon-cloud-2016-1

Use Liquibase to manage any database changes

The new version of this presentation is here ruclips.net/video/GEPJ7Lo346A/видео.html
Needed more focus on the demo screen at a larger size, instead of the presenter with the difficult to read demo at the side.
