- 00:00 In the Gorkha region, far from the tourist circuits, the inhabitants regularly fight against the monsoon. During these periods, the mountain villages find themselves isolated for long months. Convoys of trucks and caravans of mules painfully try to supply the forgotten population. On the side of the bus drivers, they are rare to fight to access it.

I am Indian and since the time I was a child I have seen Nepali people working hard for long hours especially work that requires physical strength. Its just set in my mind that my Nepali brothers and sisters are the strongest human beings on the planet.
😂😂🎉🎉😂@@dipak_Admin
wonderful how they think about karma and so taking responsibility for their own actions.
and despite the hard life they have every day, they not complaining at all.
What wonderful human beings. Nepal ....
I couldn’t hold my tear when i saw that 80 years old grandma doing that hard job 😢😢
😢
Strength only comes from struggle
I have the oportunity of visiting nepal in 2018 and it was beautiful.the most friendly People i ever met.greetins from Puerto rico.
I have a whole new respect for these people now that I have learned what secret they have kept in the mountains.
How is that 18 year-old boy?! He has more wisdom and drive than most people (including me) more than twice his age. I have nothing to offer but my sincere respect. His parents should burst at the seams with pride for raising such a fine young man!
in Nepal, such young mans are born in almost all home, just the hard situations keeps them bounded in a circle.
They are not exposed to western rubbish media and entertainment. They learn wisdom, respect and hard work from their parents and extended family members from a very young age. 💖 😊 🙆🏻♀️
@@GypsyGirl317 is that a respectful thing got say about western culture?
@@peacenow42 western media and a lot of entertainment are absolutely rubbish - I live in the West and I despise much of the stuff that has caused the breakdown of the family structure... 🤦🏻♀️
It's not about being "respectful" (respect is earned), it's about making realistic observations. 🤷🏻♀️
I have lived in non western countries with locals, and their values are far superior.
There is so much western culture as it has evolved today can learn from them. 🙆🏻♀️
The same gypsy girl prefers the western culture.
This is deep.
Being Nepali, I myself very sad seeing the situation of my country and people...
But we are strong, we must unite and work for ourselves...
I hope this documentary also caused and will also be the reason to energize the coming days with more wisdom.

This is very disappointing that you people can not construct road over there, a remote hill side road like that place is not any rocket science.

I absolutely love the sense of community,,,the 80 yr old grandma should be pampered, not working, they all smile and appear very happy...beautiful to see. Thank you for the documentary
There is so much to say. They struggle with many problems that do not exist in our daily life... Every day... They want education... They want to be happy... They want a better life... They want a road... There are so many people who can't reach these in this age. .. These are the fault of all of us..
Sincere thanks to the producers. Salute to your efforts..
figuratively speaking we all want those things
Bize yardım edebilir misiniz? Ben Suriyeliyim.
no matter how hardship the life is nepali people never forgets to smile . hope Nepal Government will Take action on making their life better❤
Oh my goodness these are the strongest most humble human beings!!! And so beautiful!! I realize my own weaknesses (which are many!) when I watch them live their lives. So hard working and dedicated to their families. Godspeed to them all. 💛💙💜♥️🧡💚🤟✌️🙏
May abundance and prosperity befall those brothers, sisters and their families in Nepal.

My dad was a paramedic in the British army in WW2 and told me all about the Gorkhas and how they could sneak up on you and slice your throat before you knew they were there. They particularly seemed to hate the Germans at the time. He had a lot of respect for the Gorkhas and said we (the allies) were lucky to have them on our side.
Hehe ! Love from Gurkha.
Respect from Gurkhas side 🙏

I've just returned to England after another month in Nepal and my back is killing me so I have a lot of sympathy for this guy at 9:03 Two weeks ago I took a bus to Kathmandu which took 8 hours to go 100km.
Excellent video I have learned how other people in our world are living and survive so much difficulties and yet are happy May God bless them happiness everlasting
I thought Nepal was peaceful and happy. Now I know it is full of hardship and struggles. The terrible road condition shocked me and make me sad

Immaculate script, insights, cinematography, music, message, inspiration of life. Respect from India.
When I drove from the Indian border, kakarivitta all the way to Kathmandu, couple of years back, the road was top notch except for a strech of few miles which was under repair cuz of the recent landslides, totally fancied the drive. The scenary was breathtaking.
East side of Nepal has more roads then Western Nepal and western Nepal's neglected by the government

Oddly enough these various jobs reminds me when I was working as long line fisherman in the Irish sea and north Atlantic in an open boat in the 70s/80s/90s. Backbreaking work at times, dangerous and continually exposed to the elements but a lot of time while working to contemplate life.
Thanks for Beautiful documentary. It gives a glimpse of Simple, Sturdy, Cheerful, Contented and Honest life with Social order with due Respects and belief in Good Karma -- in not so remote location of Nepal. Here twilight of modern life is about to begin. God bless my Nepal.

I’d bet depression and anxiety is not high in this society. People think hard work is the problem. It is not
Thanks for these great documentaries which you can easily watch a few times over .
For many years the British Army did not pay Gurkas the pensions equivalent to the British soldiers. It was corrected after long years of campaign.

Absolutely Awesome amazing documentary ☺️☺️☺️☺️ waiting for more documentaries like this
Been here done this and done that . Truly heaven on earth.
It is ridiculous how similar in belief Native Americans are to Nepalese and surrounding areas. I mean even in the names of two Indian cities like Chota and Etawah, The Cherokee have two principal towns named Echota and Etowah. Keep in mind all of this spelling doesn't matter because it's English letters. Listen to the pronunciations. Even in the bit of shaman beliefs I saw and a lot of symbolism. One guy wore a shirt that said "I may not be perfect but at least I'm NOT YOU!" and at the end the older lady said in response to her daughter when she complained about not leaving, the mother said "She could leave if she wanted to, each to their own Karma." LOL, even our retorts have the same intent.
Mitakuye oyasin. We are all relatives. 🪶💙
You are so right. I am from India now in Canada and intrigued by the similarities of North Indians, Mongolians and Nepalese with the Native Indigenous peoples. Belief in the sun, water, air and incense used in rituals, feathers in atire etc. I had a Nepali family helping us at home, they became very attached to me just because I helped treat the wife's fever. I can never forget the gratitude they had for a simple gesture on my part. My respects to the Nepalese.
I pray to their god/ess they get their roads..and it brings much good luck and an easier life. Ps.those sand bags were a gift💚

I've driven in Nepal, many years ago but only on tarmac road. Its true, though, they are some of the friendliest, kindest people I have met. Travelling around Asia, it tends to be the poorest who are the kindest.
good documentary. shows the difficulties and problems of living in remote populations with balance and professionalism
As a resident of Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, a district in India that shares borders with Nepal, I used to wonder why are they so exhausted of travel when they reach India, now I guess I know. I have immense respect for the hard working Nepali people, have seen them working very hard in our fields, our farms from childhood.
Peace and love to the Nepalese people❤

My heart breaks when i watch.. Being nepali i feel so ashmed , desperate and helpless..
No need to be ashamed, India will always stand with Nepal
Bro, you need not be ashamed. Be proud to have " SAGAR MATA" with you. Salam from Bangladesh.
No you should not be ashamed! For what reason? Your people try so hard to overcome these harsh obstacles they are facing without giving up, complaining, loosing their faith in buddha, beeing incredibly mentally and physically strong..I personally living in 'the West' admire you for that..and in the next life? That could be vice versa..
It's indeed heartbreaking to witness the intense, constant struggle and endless toil these people must endure. 🙏😥 I would feel desperate and helpless too!!
It's not their fault however, the situation they are in cannot be helped by their own actions.
I am amazed and humbled by the strength, kindness, and humility they show when confronted with the difficulties they face.
I wish the best, for them, and for you! 🏵
Wow praying for them 🙏🏼❤😇🙌🕊 I want to have my blessings here on earth not in other life. Is just one life to live, the another I believe is spiritual.
