Norwegian Viva - Day 11| Fun day at sea, Syd Norman's Prom Night Disembarkation process,Pros & Cons

- Come join us, Mel & Caroline aka the TravelFlirts as we continue our 11 day transatlantic cruise from spectacular Lisbon, Portugal to Miami, US.
Our 11 day adventure included stops at the exotic and mysterious Islands of the Azores, the chilled and laid back St. Thomas AVI, and a final stop at Taino bay on the beautiful lush tropical island of Dominican Republic.
In this episode, we get to spend our final fun sea day just chilling, eating, & drinking! Breakfast is a leisurely experience at Hudsons & for lunch we hit up our favorite, The Indulge Food Hall. We try our luck in the free cruise raffle draw...did we win?? The sea was like smooth silk with a gentle warm breeze so it was perfect for just relaxing on our balcony...& perfect it was... Then it was time for a quick shower & head off to Hudsons for one final time. Yet again a wonderful meal that did not disappoint. Still not packed at this point LOL we took a little time out to complete this sad task :( After we then headed to the Viva Club to watch the Syd's Pour house band turn back time with their PROM performance! What a blast, what a show!! If this is on your sailing...DON"T MISS IT!!
The night ended, the cruise ended...then it was time to disembark. What a smooth process. We were off in no time at all, collected our bags, breezed through customs (facial recognition used) & grabbed an Uber & headed to the Miami Amtrak station.
This journey might be over, but the Travel Flirts have many more coming!! Stay tuned!!

Beautiful sunset at Hudsons. The day before disembarkation is a secret sadness day. You keep it to yourself but you realize you will soon be leaving and being forced to cook and clean for yourself again ☹
You’re certainly right about the secret sadness day! Lol we spend it planning what our next adventures might be!! Soothes the pain 🤣🛳️

Thanks for sailing along with us! Our next vlogs have us meeting up with a group of friends in Puerto Rico before we all head off on a weeks long southern cruise down to Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, St Martin & St Thomas! Aboard the NCL Viva (once again) .. it was interesting to see how it worked for a big group (29 in our party) & on an itinerary heavy 7 day cruise!
