Using the Bench Rest concept to improve release, hold, consistency and accuracy!
I got a little verbose in this video... it was over 15 minutes before I edited as much as I could!

Bill, Man I've been worried about you! For months now I've been telling myself just do it the way Bill does it. It's not easy because there are so many variables. This video will help so many...they won't have to think through the process as I've had to do for months now. I really want to know what happened to your long draw side ways pouch grip. That is the method that has made you so accurately famous. If you study your videos you will see that you were the most accurate when you were shooting that way. Will we be seeing you shoot that way again? I know it's a slow method but you do get lots of power and it just looks very impressively difficult because it is. I must say that your through the fork sling shots are fantastic for you don't have that knuckle slap like over the top. Everyone should try one of your slingshots but keep in mind that they take a lot of practise, but it is worth it in the end. Thank you. Please reply...

I have a shoulder injury that makes holding a longer draw hard to do right now... Once it's fixed I'll probably go back to the longer draw

Bill Thank you Bill... I understand... After many years of archery practice I thought that I was a strong little fellow until I started drawing beyond my 28 inch comfort zone. I've gone to weaker bands to develop my long draw muscles. You made a really good point in the video... You need to develop the technique first with weak bands. It takes more than just a perfect aim to do what you do. You are shooting instinctively to some degree... in other words the shot must always feel just right to be on target. And your mind must find a calm and happy place... I wish you the best of luck recovering from your injury and the best of luck finding the calm and happy place in your mind.

Well you know how it is... if I've got something to share I will, but if it's just the same thing over and over again... I try to steer clear of that!

That's a great tip Bill, I love the look of that through the forks frame with the narrower fork width, is that a version of a taurus or a scorpion?

I understand that archers have a release device so that their fingers do not actually touch the string if I am not mistaken. I really liked sling shot recreation but I have peripheral neuropathy, carpal tunnel and arthritis so I find it very difficult to squeeze the pouch hard enough to draw back the bands. Is there a release device available for slings shooters? thanks

Dankung do a release aid that maybe beneficial to you. I'm sure there's cheaper options on the Internet though.

Bill, please invest in a lavalier mic or a wireless mic so that folks can hear you well when you turn your face away from the camera.
