The fact that your Odysseus feels for the Trojans, funnily enough, makes Aeneas' perspective more interesting. Throughout his own odyssey, Aeneas almost always harbour a hidden hate for the man who felled his home and lead to the death of his friends, his wife, and his king. An Odysseus who feels regret for his acts, though thinking he is still justified, would be one of more doubtful morality, and thus Aeneas' hatred of him would be placed in an area of similar gray morality: does Odysseus deserve the hate of a man who suffered so alike to him?

Yeahhh I’d definitely have to say he was more of a villain than a hero though. He murdered thousands (and even murdered hundreds more after the war so his men could have women slaves) just so one guy could have his wife back from one Trojan (who, mind you, the rest of Troy disagreed with. They wanted the wife returned as well.)

Now I'm currently trying to memorize all the songs so I can sing it in the shower and I'm also in the process of making an animation of the ENTIRE musical.
