    This was the first time in a video game I'd ever seen characters interrupting eachother in a way that sounded completely natural. It makes the scene feel so much more like a real argument. The apology immediately afterwards especially feels true to life.

    What I actually love about this scene is that both are right, and both are wrong in their own ways. Bruce ISN’T a hardened vigilante, right now he’s in the early years of his career and is getting too big for his britches. He IS the reason why a lot of criminals are becoming too scared to do anything, he’s is vengeance, he is the one who will punish those who hurt the innocent.
    But ultimately, he IS way over his head. He almost DIES that night from being poisoned cause he thought he was so much better than anything the assassins could be. And of course, Bane figures out who he is, and almost destroys the one thing he has left. Alfred.
    This game is so underrated. Having Bruce be right and wrong, allowing him to fail and learn from it, adds so much to this take on him.

That mixed with his portrayal of anger just establishes this character and his conviction in such a powerful way that avoids exposition

    I always loved Arkham Origins’s Batman, he was much less mentally grounded and more ruthless, fierce and brutal

    is no one gonna talk about how Alfred was struggling to tell Bruce "it's just because i love you" but Bruce cuts him off and says "i understand?" like that's kinda heartbreaking on its own. He sees Bruce as a son, but Bruce is too caught up in being Batman to acknowledge his emotions. It's a bittersweet resolution to this fight, especially since Bruce doesn't apologize to Alfred

      Many people consider Kevin Conroy to be one of the best Batman voice actors. His portrayal of Batman in "Batman: The Animated Series" and related projects has been highly praised for its depth and nuance, capturing both Bruce Wayne's and Batman's personas. Conroy's performance is often seen as defining the character for a generation of fans.

    I think its funny how there's a really serious cutscene and then it just cuts to the same cinematic that plays like 5 other times in the main story

    Bruce has got Alfred whipped asf. HE should have been the one apologizing, begging for forgiveness from the man who raised him. Instead Alfred said sorry for being concerned.

    Sonic having beef with Alfred

    • @efrainsoto96
      @efrainsoto96 2 месяца назад

      If Sonic the Hedgehog and Alfred Pennyworth, Batman's loyal butler, had a "beef," it would be an interesting and humorous clash of personalities. Sonic, with his rebellious, high-speed, and carefree attitude, might find Alfred's meticulous and formal demeanor a bit stifling. On the other hand, Alfred might be exasperated by Sonic's impulsiveness and disregard for protocol. The dynamic could lead to some amusing exchanges, with Sonic challenging Alfred's patience and Alfred trying to instill some discipline in the speedy hedgehog.
