Wow the LED nose is spreading to a lot of engines! I really am starting to like some LED upgrades, especially on the ambulances with a more bright white LED square that flash on and off between all the red ones. Awesome catch!
Thanks & I was just about to leave
ChicagoScanner your just so lucky I guess! No matter what I do I never even catch anything! 😂
@@metraforce441 Some luck & a lot of standing around
The ambulances have always had a white front & center
Full house!
Is 2-2-2 using a real Q or an electronic Q? I'm trying to recognize the difference between the two sirens.
All electric
Run that tower out too fast and something on it, or the station gets broken. Maybe both.
Sad to see a city neglect its FD and force its firefighters to work on equipment well past its retirement age, especially with a call volume like Chicago's.
Chicago will be replacing it’s whole fire fleet with Eone fire apparatus by the end of the contract but yeah it took the city a while
@Jacks Vacs and Safety Yes, but being in service 25 years is not exactly recommended with such a high call volume.
