  • The four schools of jurisprudence in Islam, also known as the madhabs, are Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali. These schools of thought emerged in the early Islamic period and are based on the teachings and interpretations of Islamic law by their respective founders. Each school has its own set of principles and methodologies for interpreting Islamic law, and while there are similarities between them, there are also some differences.
The Hanafi school, founded by Abu Hanifa, emphasizes the use of reason and personal interpretation in legal rulings. The Maliki school, founded by Malik ibn Anas, is known for its reliance on the practice and customs of the people of Medina. The Shafi'i school, founded by Muhammad al-Shafi'i, places a strong emphasis on the Quran and the Sunnah (the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad), and the Hanbali school, founded by Ahmad ibn Hanbal, is known for its strict adherence to the literal texts of the Quran and the Sunnah. These schools of thought continue to have a significant influence on Islamic law and practice to this day.

follow to the madhab in your region. in Central Asia, Turkey it is hanafi, in Malaysia, Somalia, Maldives, Dagestan it is Shafii, in North Africa it is maliki, Hanbali madhab is in Saudi Arabia (at some degree) etc etc.. I don't know where you live but if it is somewhere in Europe, America, you can pick your madhab if you don't know which one people follow to. if you want to understand more deeply why you should follow one of madhab, i suggest to you to read the book of shaykh Ramadhan al-Buti called "Al-la Madhabiya", it is available in the PDF format in internet for free.

Prohibitions only come from God. God didn't prohibit things like painting, music, dancing or even alcohol etc, but unfortunately, most so-called believers are the followers of shaitan. They follow lies and contocted hadiths called sunnah. God didn't ask to follow a mixture of Jewish, Christian, and Zoroastrian nonsense incorporated in Islam by so-called ulema.

Allah planned everything meticulously since the beginning, he sent His messengers in the same lineage. In the end He leaves the decision in the hands of strangers, does that sound logic? Following the companions is mentioned nowhere in the Quran and among the companions there were liars, aldulterers, wine drinkers and renegades ! Ibn Hanbal, Muslim, Tirmizi & many others have reported that the Holy Prophet PBUH has recommended to follow the Holy Quran alonside with the Progeny of His Household. Scholars never mention it and lead the people towards 4 manmade 'imams' who came as from 1 century after ! These 4 so called school of thoughts were monitored by the kings of their time. One important thing which scholars do not let the people know is that, these kings killed mercilessly the Progeny of the Holy Prophet PBUH as well as their followers. That's the bitter part of Islamic history which started at Karbala.

it is near to impossible, as , for example, there is one sahih hadith that says that prophet sallallahu aleyhi wa sallam, used to pray with hands parallel to his body, and there are sahih hadiths where prophet used to pray with hands put on, under or close to his chest. which one you should pick? so that's why there are people called mujtahids who classified the rulings. madhab division is a mercy from Allah, azza wa jall. there will be one madhab in Islam only when Isa aleyhisalam comes. he won't be a prophet for us, he will follow the shariah of Muhammad aleyhisalam, and he will be taught Muhammadian shariah.
