The physics in Generations felt so good, the game was almost too easy, but then Forces was horrible. Why couldn't they recycle Generations physics engine
That last section was a work of art. The CGI was immaculate, and it's got me so freaking hyped for Frontiers. I already have it pre-ordered, and I'm gonna review it as soon as I'm done with it.

Idk why but theres something about Sonic vs Giganto(the kronos titan) that hits for me.
Seeing sonic be as small as he is still able to fight on par with and beyond what this gargantuan creature can, with neither giving an inch and showing their tenacity. Its raw.
And even neater with a sick track as Undefeatable. Playing it at the first time it was a blast!
The CGI was ducking phenomenal

@@archieakira4237 This is one of the only Mainline games that Super Sonic has something important with the story, Sonic is more serious, "lm here" is already one of my top 3 favorite Sonic track, more than one GCI scene (i know it use for the trailer, but still count), THEY FINALLY MADE SONIC EXPRESSIVE and that Knuckles prologue speaks for it selfs. Okay, we can all agree that Sonic team need to stop reusing the same levels since like... (Generations), but is it really matter? They at least made cyber's spaces Challenging to get a S rank. I still de member when we got the first view trailer at games awards 2021, many of u just got mad or disapoint just because they show the sonic model from Sonic Forces. Stop complaining if the game didnt release, cause others peoples will think the game is bad even if they didnt play it yet, so they won't buy it, and making videos games is totally not ez, think more harder before saying a game is bad.

@Zexarade The problem with that is that the day/night cycle is dynamic, so that'd be difficult to pull off, not to mention how much disk space that'd take up. Plus, I haven't dug into leaks myself (for obvious reasons) but those that have played the game already have already said that the CGI scenes are not in the game. Not surprising, though. We've seen other CGI trailer scenes that DID have in-game equivalents, but said equivalents were entirely in-engine.

Once the music kicked up with the Singing, I had goosebumps all over me! Especially when Sonic went Super, it's so good!
I really REALLY look forward to seeing this! Even if there's still some goofy moments/poses, I'm really hyped!
This was an epic trailer! I can't wait for when the game finally comes out! Also, I find it interesting that Sonic and Amy are in what appear to be poppy flowers, representing consolation, remembrance, and death. If not, then that's still a really cool scene!

it's so close and you're so close to playing every Sonic game in the marathon
The combat cgi and everything else came together amazingly.
What I find interesting is the Death Egg Robot from Forces at 1:03. For me, it either subtly hints that Eggman had conquered the Starfall Islands during the events of Forces (whether knowingly or unknowingly), or it serves some other story reason that we are unaware of.
If future Sonic games are going to be open world with puzzles and traditional combat, I want the other characters to return. Imagine an open zone being developed with different skill sets in mind. Espio might serve a purpose outside of being the third team Chaotix member.
Wow! I didn't know that Frontiers Prologue was playable! Does it come in a special pack with Frontiers?

Kind of unfortunate how there probably won't be any CGI cutscenes actually in the game, but marketing wise, this is amazing.
yeah some of the leaked gamplay cutscenes I've seen don't really line up the cgi scenes in the trailer. it could be a trailer only thing or we might get a cgi intro showing all the cool things you can do when starting up the game.
I'm excited for you to finish it for when you make "Everything Wrong With Sonic Frontiers" cuz while I'm playing, I'll be seeing perfection
One thing I noticed watching this trailer, is that the voice that is guiding Sonic - at least in this trailer - sounds almost _exactly_ like MAIA from Rise of Lyric.
Which makes me think they'll fulfill the same purpose, though obviously with a bigger role this time.
You wouldn't think I'd recognize a character from Sonic Boom, but MAIA had a very distinct voice, and therefore stuck out in my head.
Why does the battle remind me of battles against some of the enemies in Horizon? You know I’m not a sonic fan and even I am excited to see this game.
I think its really cool how BOTW has caused other series to become open world.

I know what that ending shot is, because that ending shot is either pure market purpose or it’s that one part that happens in a few Sonic games where the animation in the cutscenes goes hype as fuck for no particular reason, like in Black Knight when he gets the suit, or when he’s on the cliff in Secret Rings.

Overall, the trailers and stuff looks, decent. I’m not fully convinced that this is gonna be some grand masterpiece, and that one shot in this trailer also makes me think definitely that the cutscenes are not the in game models and such. I don’t know though, I think it’s just nice to be excited for Sonic again along with other folks on the internet, even if we do still have those expectations of what it’ll probably be

So a little fact about the Super Sonic/Titan fights-apparently this aren’t even the final boss-those are the _area bosses_.
This game has the potential to boost the franchise out of the hole I’d been singing Italy into since the start of the boost formula games.
I think my favorite thing about this game is that because he finally has good direction and writing. I can see Roger as modern sonic now its no longer just Griffith or Ryan. Because they made his voice fit the character.

So, with the non-gameplay footage in this trailer, I think the first and last scenes of the trailer are not in the game, but all the other non-gameplay footage are in-game cutscenes.

Yeah... No... I mean, if you look at it in a certain way, tilt your head and squint your eyes, maybe? But... No. The storybook games were about Sonic being brought into worlds based on pop culture, but this game is much different from that. Plus, there *WAS* going to be a third Storybook game, but it was canceled due to the failures that Secret Rings and Black Knight were considered to be at the time they were released; Not only that, but this game has significant differences between the Storybook games, and the most damning piece of evidence of this is Sonic's friends. In the Storybook games, Sonic's friends would be stand-ins for characters like Ali-Baba, Sinbad or Sir Galahad. But here, we know that Sonic's friends are...well, just that; Sonic's friends that we know and love.
Not only that, but the level designs are far different from what either Black Knight or Secret Rings had. Even on a fundamental level, Frontiers is different from those games.
