You are absolutely right. Got confused by the "all rivals lose" powers that do not apply to players that have passed. I have cut the whole sentence from the video so I don't mislead people and I will also add a klingon subtitle that "all rivals gain" powers also count for players that passed. Thanks a lot my friend

Put the card in your discard pile (tucked sideways under your deck). The glossary wrote: Destroy: to discard an artifact from play, not from hand. Destroyed artifacts are placed in your discard pile.

destroy = remove from the board. discard = from hand. it says on on each players reference cards. cards never removed from the game
