why is the bot NOT being able to read the entire codebase on load in a repo in vscode? Seems very logical but it's NOT happening. Please advise. Thanks.
it could nto access my entire codebase. i have 100 components and it only indexed 13 of them
Hey, @gani2an1, are your 100 components spread out across multiple repos or all in a single repo? Today Cody uses the repo that you currently have loaded to answer your questions, but it's definitely on our list to enable Cody across multiple repos in future releases.

Even a small code base with max of 20 files it can't do shit, I wanted to make things easy for me n I have to teach the ai what to do, quite frustrating n a waste of time

Dissapointed, keeps retrieving code for ever, i understand why few people use it. error: retrieved codebase context before initialization

yes it absolutely is, a cheerful happy voice by the sounds of it.
Definitely the voice is of a full grown adult person, but they are certainly happy to be using Cody : )
Cody always fails to read existing code base, quite disappointed, even with premium it does not live upto what's mentioned here, it always gives some BS generic example
