  • Maria Skłodowska-Curie (better known in the outside world as "Marie Curie") was one of many Poles who found a new life in France in the mid-19th century 🇵🇱→→→🇫🇷 As a physicist and chemist 👩‍🔬 she conducted pioneering research on radioactivity ☢ and discovered 2 new elements for the periodic table 🔬🧪 The element Polonium was named by her in honour of her homeland 🤍🇵🇱❤️ that didn't even exist on the world map at the time 🗺️😮
