Hi guys my name is Deanna and I think I am going to enjoy watching your videos I just subscribed to you and I am very much looking forward to going through the videos you already have placed on RUclips. Definitely looking forward to new ones. I just started on RUclips and it's quite exciting to be able to become Watchers of other people's creations thoughts and ideas and then to have you make us smile or giggle or just downright laugh is wonderful thanks for sharing. Hugs! Deanna.
you guys crack me up.... I think the stamps came out pretty good. the first time is always the worst because you don't really know what you're doing. Now you do so they will be a lot better. Cool. Way to go. pat
Thank you once again from Brisbane Oz for sharing. Like you I was intimidated and have had my stamp maker for well over 6-7 years and not used it. Will be from hereon in though
Thank you for sharing this. I have avoided this myself and you just showed how easy it is to make a custom stamp. I know that HSN has the packs on sale. I see them every once in a while, I see them on Craigslist. Thanks. I'm a new sub!!
If you still want to make stamps, I have around 30 videos on that alone. These days I laser print on tracing paper and use LED/UV lamps as they are more reliable. I buy the polymer by the Kg.
I've never heard of this - I think Theresa Collins has some great design ideas! Who would have thought to use a uv nail polish lamp for making custom stamps??!! Are you two twins?? brothers? You look alike and you seem like siblings and you have a nice rapport. I didn't think I would like a crafting channel with two guys - but you guys are funny!
The only thing I wonder if I did wrong was maybe not heating up the machine long enough. Also wondered if that hard plastic insert is supposed to be taken out when using the machine ? I thought it was to protect the light bulbs, but now I'm not so sure.
I'm not sure what you mean by the hard plastic insert. Since we opened our stampmaker up years ago but didn't use it, we may have removed something and don't remember it. The only insert I know from what he have now is the plastic mirrored base of the chamber that can be slid out. That should stay in while using it.
Kristy Lucey I have the Stampmaker with the clear plastic insert, too. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to remove it before I use it, or not. Anyone have an answer???
Since this has been a few years ago... Do you guys sill think this is a good investment? I seriously seriously need to make a custom stamp... and NOT for fun... but for business, to stamp many many book covers.. Please let me know... BTW, this video was GREAT... Thank YOU GUYS ;)
We think this was a good investment. It is however time consuming. But i think that this is the product that could do what you are looking for it to do.
I just tried to make a stamp twice, but there was no stamp image there! Is it possible to scrub off the entire image?? I followed your video exactly...
Not sure Kristy. When you started cleaning the packet did you feel any of your design in the material? I was able to feel the stamp through the goo. I didn't even realize I scrubbed off the one piece while cleaning it in the water. So it could be possible. You are putting it in negative side down first for the first few seconds, then flipping it over negative side up for the longer period correct? If you just exposed the blank side up for a long period you would just be setting the whole packet. Beyond that I am not sure. Possible bad material in your packets? I am not sure if that stuff expires. We had ours for a number of years though before we did this project. Maybe contact the company? - Ken
hi, is there another way to print image without the clear paper? what's the easiest way to print image off of? can't I just use black construction paper and cover it with cling wrap?
If your image doesn't need to be crisp and doesn't have a lot of detail that process may work. We haven't done anything other then the transparencies so couldn't say how it would turn out.
Great stamps guys! Looks like y'all will have a lot of fun with that.

What is the compartment size or dimensions of the UV light?
Thank you so much for the video!
What kind of luck have you guys had with ordering refills for the packs?

How do you make the negative? Great video!
You know ... i realized we kinda skipped that didn't we ... so we are doing an episode just on that too!
Ok, I will watch for it.
I saw the dimensions of the entire uv light unit but curious of the size inside the compartment, thanks!

Thank YOU Both... ;)
I think it's a great idea u can make your very own stamps not someone else stamp
Do you have the Cricut Embossing Folder stuff where you can cut your own embossing folders? I want to see how to do those.
Ugh I didn't mean to put thumbs down. How do undo it? :(
I loved this video. You made it look so easy.
Thank you. To undo your thumbs down I believe you can just click on it again to toggle it off. :)
I went ahead and rewatched the video and put a thumbs up. When I went back to the video my thumbs down was gone. Thank goodness :)
how did you make the negative?

Good job! Leave it in 3 mins. It does better.
interesting, but how do you make the negative?
George will be sharing this shortly. :)
How did you get your logo on to the mat?
I had one for years but I gave it away.
hi, is there another way to print image without the clear paper? what's the easiest way to print image off of? can't I just use black construction paper and cover it with cling wrap?

What?!? No Christopher Alan Designs stamp? ;)
We were fitting things in on the sheet. Send us your design :)
Where can I get the supplies for this?
Hi Nessy184, do you mean additional gel packs and such?
Yes :)
