Tatsuya definitely has the best rendition of Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari on acoustic hands down ever created. This was made long before animenz even... And it's like it's Animenz before Animenz. Really incredible. I don't like to do comparisons, but I'm halfway learning through tam lu's Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari version. I still think Tatsuyas is just AMAZING compared to it. No tabs have ever existed for this medley, I've even offered him $150+ on his livestreams a few times for a bakemonogatari medley tab.

Staple Stable is my favorite because when ever I hear it I get such a huge blast of nostalgia since it’s the first op that I heard in the context of the anime and it just brings me back to my bewilderment when I first started the series. The ED is also one of my favorite songs in the series because the feel of the song was already nostalgic so when I finished it, every time I hear it it takes so back it makes me feel so emotional. But they’re both absolutely amazing songs that, without the nostalgia factor, would still be my favorites, but the nostalgia factor just boosts them to another level.

The Monogatari series is broken into numerous series (or seasons with different titles if you prefer to think of it that way) so Bakemonogatari is effectively the first season. Then there’ll be others with different names (e.g. Owarimonogatari) and some will be called “[x]monogatari Season 2”. There’s one that’s literally just “Monogatari Season 2,” Owarimonogatari has a Season 2... But Bakemonogatari is first and foremost, and then you can google “Monogatari watch order” and find plenty of sources that explain it. There’s a good graphic on a Reddit post that should be one of the first things to come up.

It really does sometimes. Always end up doing god knows how many takes before I get one right and even then I end up hearing somewhere I go slightly wrong or a note is a tad muted and shouldn't be but I'm like fuck it I been at this for 4 hours.
