No. It's sufficient for bird to go inside and eat. Because louie is never locked. He rests on top of cage and never inside

U are decreasing your parrots life span and troubling by buying a very small cage . They are born to fly around the earth not to be hidden in your small cage so, please buy a lager cage

Size of the cage doesn't matter for my parrot because he never sits inside. We never lock him. So Louie is not a troubled parrot. He is our loveable family member. He just goes inside to drink water or eat something. And its not that small. Size is appropriate.
