Minnesotan here... Interesting thing is that when Harris/Walz win, our Lt Governor Peggy Flanagan will become the first Native American woman to hold the office of Governor in US history. She's a member of the White Earth band of Ojibwe.

Just got a Pocono mountain school paper saying all kids will get free lunch in schools regardless of their income. I have two grandchildren who are teachers in the system and looking forward to the new year along with three great grandchildren. Happy with Shapiro

That is what I have been feeling and when she started talking about the new energy at start of this video, I said out loud how it is such a wonderful breath of fresh air and being able to breathe again. When Biden first announced he was dropping out I got really scared, but now seeing the Harris/Walz together I really feel hopeful that we are truly going to be able to win. That light will triumph over darkness. It's a good feeling.

I also wanted to mention that last spring I had this strong strong sense that women would dominate as the voters in November.
I saw thousands of them flocking to the voting places. When Harris stepped forward I felt a joyful affirmation. Women have been strengthened by the “me too “ movement. We want our reproductive rights back!!
I have no doubt that Pete will have an important role in her cabinet. He has so much to offer. I am happy with Walz. Pete is better to wait and to run for Potus one day.

I attended the Eau Claire, WI rally today, well over 12,000 people all with positive energy. In the middle of no where in Wisconsin fields. What an experience!! You would have enjoyed the spirit!

A tsunami of hope and positivity has hit us all and, even in the UK, we can feel it. It's palpable. The future looks good. Well, at least now we all have a future. I was beginning to lose hope, but now I'm bouncing off the ceiling and dancing on the streets. I'm doing a waltz for Walz.

Walz was my pick , since i knew we could not have Pete just yet. The fact his students voted him the most inspirational teacher in the school, and they asked him to run for office tells me everything. I read a comment, true story, from one if his students that was fantastic. He has a wicked sense of humor, down to earth but caring not a lifelong politician. I kept praying she would go with her GUT and I think she did. I cried tears of joy & relief watching the PA rally.
I now live in Michigan now and she was in Detroit and some lady was protesting her in a loud way. Kamala switched her tone and said um I am speaking and if you want to vote for trump say that if not I am speaking. She was ticked off. I seen it in her eyes she was angry

One trip, we got lost and someone, a Canadian, of course, actually took time to lead us ( pre-GPS) to where we needed to go! I had never seen Americans here in US doing that! I have loved Canadians ever since. Our US-centric view has to change. We do all depend on each other, and to be frank, I was concerned that if Trump were re-elected and started caging immigrants, and doing mass deportations, our elderly not getting social security, etc. , that the world is going to look away and "leave our ugly American asses out to dry!" I am just grateful that you all seem to understand. My education is in Global Management. I have worked and lived abroad. But I know my border views and global views are not shared across the board. I am just grateful that so many in other nations have been so concerned for us.
I was telling my partner yesterday that I thought a good slogan for Harris/Walz would be From hatred to Hope. Because for me it really feels this way.

I am OVERJOYED with the Harris and Walz ticket!!!! I was watching MSNBC the other day and all the commentators were smiling, every single one. I haven’t seen that in years! I don’t normally watch cable news but I was feeding the dogs and flipped it on and everyone was smiling and joyous…and I started to cry with happiness. I’m a Libra and these years have been so difficult; I want for things to be fair and just and they haven’t been in so long. It was overwhelming to be so happy, so hopeful that things would improve. ❤
The Harris/Walz ticket is an excellent one. They have brought optimism, hope, joy, and love for all humanity in America. We see a future for our children moving forward and moving ahead. What a team to guide and uplift our spirits. Vote Blue in November for a happier and peaceful America.

My friend attended the Eau Claire Wisc. Rally today and she said the two miles of bumper to bumper cars for hours to attend and then a mile and a half standing in line after parking their cars! The energy she said was electric!!!!

BTW, the video of Tim Walz signing the bill for children's school breakfasts and lunches is so powerful. All these kids hugging him and laughing and him hugging and laughing back brought me to tears of joy. This man is as genuine as anybody can be.

I loved the interview of Walz where interviewer said Republicans were saying how dangerous he is and Tim said “Yeah I’m a real monster, I want school kids to get enough to eat.”

I have been smiling every since I saw the Harris/Walz ticket in action. So much joy, trump doesn't know what to do.
I am so glad that she chose Walz. Being British I didn’t know anything about Shapiro but I saw a photo of him and I was put off him because his smile verged on a smirk. (I am a portrait artist so I read faces.) Walz has a very warm smile.
Oh, we still have to work . This ticket is showing us a future for all Americans. I think hard work, common decency, as well as common sense is prevailing. People have a lightness of being...such a gift.

I love Josh Shapiro. I’ve known him for a few years now. Or to be more precise I’ve had multiple experiences interacting with him over the last decade. I’m glad we get to keep him as our governor. Kamala made the right choice. Governor waltz is pretty awesome.
I think if Kamala wins, she would consider asking Shapiro to take the position Merrick Garland has NOW at DOJ. Garland doesn’t want a second term.
