Parking Coordinator needed...
Leo Driver: I was born for this
Fake name/Alias used to be easily found and known in the industry.
@@NavidVasei is it really a thing?
If you search for Leo Driver, you see he has worked for 20+ movies and shows as ”parking coordinator” / transport..he’s basically the valet guy you call to drive/park cars for projects..
On facebook you will see many other people use Driver as lastname so people know they are ”drivers” - the ones i saw drive trucks and work with cars.
I myself know people who give a different last name so people remember them more easily.
@@NavidVasei Wow. Thats quite cool. Nice marketing trick
@@NavidVasei certainly stands out more than another David Johnson or something! Plus any Leo Driver in film credits, especially in that role, is much more likely to be actually this same guy. I never really thought about it before you said, but.. actors do it, why wouldn't other types of production crew? Very cool.
Logistics of Making a Wendover Video With no Planes
That would actually be interesting
@@starkillersspace5474 That would be... Half as interesting
@@Capumaraca You saw the opportunity and you took it. I like it.
It’s a miracle!
More videos about planes please, planes are awesome!
Location manager: Sees his name focused on in the video

James Lin
11:01 This guy got his start by working as DiCaprio's chauffeur
Ah you mean Brad pitt
How are you in charge of parking and your last name is Driver.
@@DrunKao lucky its not Parker.
Fucking tomato bitch
@@DrunKao they often change last names to their professions, so he probably was not born driver unless his parents were also drivers for hollywood

I love watching the credits because (1) they sometimes have great names, (2) sometimes I see the same names crop up again, which is nice, and (3) sometimes I see names such as von Hohenzollern.
@@klobiforpresident2254 Do you really? Or do you just want to wait for the extra scene like the rest of us do?
C'mon, stop pretending.
Luis some of us like’s too find our name and friends names as VFX Artist.
2:58 Anyone else think this was a perfect time for Wendover to mention Edinburgh’s airport?
Im dissapointed tbh he didnt mentioned it,he didnt say the word plane durin whole video...Wooow
Nobody is gonna comment on the fact that he watched the entire credits for this video.
It's a marvel movie, most people watch the end credits
@@Stevenverx most people wait through the end credits waiting for an extra scene afterwards*
biodude zerothree and after the end scene there are more credits that the people usually don’t watch
@@me-it9jn and after those credits there's oftend another end scene.
so yes people watch all of the credits of marvel movies. It's actually quite interesting to see how many people work doing so many different jobs (also a lot of those people have funny names)
I ALWAYS watch the entire credits after EVERY movie I see in the cinema as a way to pay respects and admiration and thankfulness for the great movie I have seen
Leo Driver is now a world famous parking coordinator. A documentary about his endeavors and journey will be made and put on curiosity stream and I will watch it.
If something like that ever gets uploaded to Curiosity Stream I will seriously subscribe to it
I'm seriously curious now. I would genuinely watch this.
Fun fact: they actually filmed it in deep space. Not all stuntman survived tho.
RIP to all those lost in space filming, they will be missed
The hardest choice often requires the strongest will.
Did you do it?
Yes.
What did it cost?
Stuntmen

He's just this guy, ya know
I was sure there was going to be a bait and switch and you'd just start breaking out plane facts at any point.
Nobody will believe that the guy that makes plane videos is a mountain biker, but I am and I watch your channel and the rest of MTB-tube a ton :D
@@Wendoverproductions Well I didn't see that coming! I have t say it's one of the coolest unintended compliments. Maybe we'll see some bike related WP/HAI related content at some point!
wow
nice to see you here
Thx
I work in the film industry in the production department and the amount of info he got right is mind boggling. Like it takes years as a filmmaker to know all this data. Great job 👏🏽

Wendover Productions video that is not about airplanes
*Mentions airplanes anyway*
Perfectly balanced as all things should be
John Paul Quevedo this does put a smile on my face
*Wendover doesnt mention planes*
Impossible
John Paul Quevedo
shut the fuck up lmao we fucking get it he talks about airplanes.
Simmer down
If there is anything that moves a certain distance, plane comes in as an option.
Another fun fact, the list of names in the credits doesn't actually list everyone who worked on the project. For example, IT work is often on the chopping block when it comes to who's names show up in the credits. They'll list the main person in charge but they'll often have their own staff to assist. Due to the traditions and regulations studios follow in terms of union regulations, Academy junk, or just the fact that the assistant to the assistant of IT doesn't have a Hollywood agent on their side. Those names don't show up in the credits.... I know this because I technically worked on Avengers 2 for a day doing IT work but my name definitely didn't get put in the credits due to my very low rank on the totem poll.
sue
Wendover not mentioning planes? This isn't the real Wendover, this is Noobmaster69
the issue is that they used portals instead of airplanes
He does mention an airport though at 5:35, does that count?
Genuinely thought he was about to talk about planes at the end when he said "any Wendover Productions fan knows..."
More like GroundPound6090
is it TheLegend27?
10:34 i am disappointed you didn't say it was an absolute win.
This isn't HAI, there he would've.
But still; these are confusing times.
Parking manager‘s last name is “Driver”, what a coincident
Is it? Or is it FATE?
Should be Parker
Had this been a HAI video, I'm sure he wouldn't have let that pass
I thought we're about to ignore this fact collectively
Downey's chef's name is Tamie Cook, too.
11:01 oh my god the parking coordinator's name is Driver
So THAT's why I didn't get the job
@@austinheath9439 You should be a doctor in Texas
I don't know why so many people are mentioning this. It would be funny if his name was Leo Parker. Or Leo Coordinator. But he wasn't a driver.
@Samuel Maurer yes and my name is Leo Party Animal
First The funny thing is that he was. That position also functions as Valet and he’s responsible for driving a lot of the vehicles and parking them and getting them in the right locations. That being said even if it wasn’t it would be funny, you’re a perfect example of a glass half empty narcissist that likes to shit on anything because of your overwhelming hatred for yourself.
90% of comments about Leo driver lol
*both Marvel and St. Alb's benefit*
Hulk: I see this as an absolute win!
Thankyou so much for making this video. I work as a location manager and our department isn't something that is often discussed. It's STRESSFUL AF haha thankyou for drawing attention to us 👊
It was so funny watching endgame. I recognised St. Abbs straight away and almost shouted out in the theatre.
To have a Parking Coordinator named ''Leo DRIVER'' ... It's almost like that guy was born to get this kind of jobs 😂
"baby driver"
I had a music tech tutor called Mike Tester... He was a drummer though.
Wouldn't it be Leo Parker?
The New Asgard scenes featured an Irn Bru bottle relatively prominently placed beside Thor, as a nice little nod to the fact that they had been filmed in Scotland. Not noticeable to most, but to Scottish people you couldn’t miss it. 😂
I have been watching the video for 30 seconds and there hasn't been a single mention of planes.
wait for it
I am inevitable.
They never use a real plane
I'm starting to think this is the wrong channel. Hmmm.
I work as a camera operator, and like to think that I know enough about how complex (and EXPENSIVE) film production logistics is, but the moment I saw the title of this video, I was willing to get a brand new education on the topic.
As someone who works in the office of these logistic nightmares, thank you for showing even a tiny bit of what it's like to put together any kind of screen production. Even ads have many of these roles.

7:12 This is not atlanta, this is a birdseye view of London, heathrow airport can be seen south with the river thames aswell.
Yes, you are correct. He mentions that this is Pinewood Studios which is correct, but shows their UK location, not their Georgia location.
Blame the animator, not Sam
I bet Sam will mention the mistake in his next video where he mentions mistakes
There went 15 minutes of my life - my parents live near Pinewood Atlanta and I've never seen that cloverleaf near it XD

I was thinking the same thing!
When he was saying " any long time wendover viewer by this point" I was sure he was going to talk about planes.
I live in a northern town where Hallmark comes yearly to film Christmas movies.... in July. Each year while the temp is 30 degrees C Christmas decorations are hung, and the streets are dressed with blankets of fake snow. It looks surprisingly real. I still cant believe I was in a Christmas movie with James Brolin.
I never thought that I would land on a video about the logistics side of movie production
So glad I did though because this is actually very interesting!
Please do more film/TV production behind the scenes, this was awesome!
How much did Disney pay you to not talk about planes?
Yes
Everything
Well he still talked about airports, does that count?
It's really cool to see behind the screen and focus on all the people that make this possible. They usually are only mentioned as numbers or news articles detailing abuses of authority
I worked on these films and I can tell you first hand, you barely scraped the tip of the tip of the iceberg. They built an inventory specific specialty Home Depot on the backlot of our main sound stages at Pinewood Studios in Fayetteville GA just for the production to have access to an array of materials for multiple departments from set construction to rigging. That's just another fraction of a fraction in the logistics of making these films.
Credits of the movie should be replaced by this video should, so that audience can realize & appreciate all the hard work done by each person
Next time you watch a Marvel film, look for the name: *Ryan Potter* in the credits. He's in every single Marvel film and you can see his progression in job positions through the films
You can see him @ 9:27 under the Marvel Studios category
Is that you?
7:08
"The film studio was outside Atlanta Georgia"
*Zooms out to a bird's eye view of London*
Tut tut tut.
Other than that nice, quality video
2 Pinewood studios = why?
I just love the amount of research that goes into these videos.
I’ve been to st Abbs and I didn’t even know Endgame was filmed there until I went to the visitor centre! The village was absolutely stunning and I can really see why they chose the spot.
Disney: "super-magic-scifi-mega-action-thriller"
Wendover: "aeroplanes"
I would love if you made more videos about the logistics of movie/theatre/entertainment production. Soooo fascinating and you did a wonderful job exposing it all
When you realize that they actually used a whole village only to show NoobMaster69
Fun Fact of the day:
The last Jason Bourne movie was supposed to shoot in Athens Greece but due to bureaucracy and lack of a movie lissing department in Greece, they reconstructed Syntagma Square in a city in Spain and shot the whole action scene there instead.

COINCIDENCE, I THINK NOT.
As it's "Pym Particles Production II" my guess is that it was the Ant-Man & The Wasp production crew. They have a tendency to make custom business entities for films (part of the Hollywood Accounting).
Lençóis Maranhenses is one of the most beautiful places in the world and, in my opinion, the most beautiful place in Brazil. The fact that it appeared, even if not directly, in two Avengers films brings me so much joy.
