I know! Though honestly the more I rewatch it the more I genuinely start to dislike Beckett. No offense to the actress she did an amazing job but the character just wasn’t good and she kept pulling the same BS over and over.
I also love how some of his former cast mates guest star on the show, just surprise they didn't make one of them shadow Nolan as a writer to make a jab at Castle.
And fights for his wife like Drake did.
I love the rookie so much because I watch it every Sunday with my parents

When the first season of a new series is a huge hit everyone and their grandmother is dying to appear on it and then when the second season does even better you can pretty much get anyone you want to appear.

It's been stewing at the back of my mind and the abusive husband line seems too simple. I've got a feeling Bailey is working with the husband, either because they like luring in a good samaritan and causing trouble for him, or perhaps they are with Oscar and he wants some revenge on Nolan.
