Jam and I were told that Durrington Police Station in Worthing is the grottiest in the UK. Not too far from us, we thought we’d go check it out and it didn’t disappoint!
The place is filthy, and looks like a local fly-tipping spot.
The filth themselves were almost impeccably behaved, and seem to have been tamed by other auditors already.
We spoke predominantly with four officers and they were polite and professional, well presented in full uniform with no gang badges that I noticed. The DS let us know she was recording us straight away, and they remained professional and polite throughout, didn’t try to abuse or lie about their powers. They readily ID’d themselves without the usual, flippant “can’t you read” type comments.
This in no way means I approve of or support what they do for a living, or believe the police could ever be a force for good. ALL cops are bastards because they sign up to enforce fundamentally unjust laws, and prop up a system that serves no one but the highest echelons of society. But today, they did it pleasantly.
Whilst all police officers we encountered were exemplary in their conduct, unfortunately a civvy member of the force really let the side down by telling us to “get off”, swearing, and approaching me in a hostile manner looking like he was contemplating swiping my phone.

. . . typical police manipulation, the DC's initial concern is you looking / filming through the window, because you might see 'confidential information' when it's pointed out that it's their job (not yours) to keep that information confidential, she suddenly decides you couldn't have seen any confidential information, because there is none on display.
Yep a clear lie! I don’t believe that she works in that very office (which she most likely does if she saw me through the window) and doesn’t realise there are multiple computer screens facing the window…they just cant help themselves

Just watched this after seeing the clip on pinac audits. Well I live in West Sussex so my council tax goes towards the upkeep of that dump and the wastrels not working there I'm asking for a refund. Also instead of wasting time in sending out four plod to harass people instead of one plod to clearly say "ITS PRIVATE PROPERTY I'M TELLING YOU TO LEAVE" ,or better still SHUT THE EFFING GATE. No wonder the police service says they are understaffed when it takes four highly trained and equipped officers to deal with this incident. They are NOT understaffed far from it. What we need is a professional competent service. Numbers were a bit over the top however a very good attitude and response from the uniformed staff. (Didn't even have hands in pockets). The civilian member was not good though.

@@269gem9 the ones you want to look out for are the ones with a the letters SC, directly below a crown. Those are Special Constables; they are exactly like regular police, with the one exception that they are 100% volunteer
“No unauthorised persons beyond this point” regardless if the gates were open or closed you should obey that notice, 2 mins earlier your defence when told you were in a private area was to say there were no signs prohibiting you, lack of intellectual consistency. Oh, and I’m on your side.
They can use appropriate force if you continue to refuse to leave when asked.

It’s not intellectual consistency because I wasn’t using that as a defence, it was merely an observation. I didn’t need a defence for being there- the onus is on them to create privacy and the tree wasn’t really working!

9:15 Yep. The police do not have powers to move someone off their property. They abuse their authority to make people move, but it's a civil matter not criminal and police can only use force in a criminal matters. In civil matters, it comes down to common law use of reasonable force. That requires the force used to be at an absolute minimum (so not even contact) and even that can only be used when necessary. Their use of force in such situations is legally the same as for a normal person. Security concerns when they can't fix the gate are moot.
Someone should look at the cleaners and cleaning budget if have any or maybe it’s due to close completely ,what a mess the surrounding go’s with the standard of policing but to be fair they were on good behaviour 💔🇬🇧

still not learn lessons from the 80`s when car thefts who had the car recovered to a police station went back at night round the back and took the car again @ the 90`s they had a recovery company do it,the vans didnt have cage in them until ford transit when you got nicked they put you in side and left you there to look for there mates when they had 2 or 3 inside they kicked the back doors open and ran off again that started in manchester then they fitted the cage
As a police officer is a Crown servant and does not work for the police service are they agents of the building and carpark owners?
If not they can not ask you to leave

So the man siting minding his own business informs you that you are in a private premises after you announced that you had seen a sign stating that fact, which you ignored or as I believe made your own interpretation of.
The person on the phone clearly did not swear at you or threaten you, they did not approach you, you approached them and harassed them by intentionally following and recording them.
The No Unauthorised Access sign means you! they keep the information private by putting up a sign that says No unauthorised access, again you ignored this!
If someone in your house started recording you in the shower because the door was unlocked and they could walk in and do so or if someone used a drone to record outside your bedroom window I would Imagine you'd be a bit upset and rightfully so!

-The sign was in a completely different place. The officer said it was a tree marking the private land.
-The guy who said he was a civilian muttered “for fuck’s sake” under his breath.
-The sign didn’t nothing to protect the data, as evidenced. Not everyone obeys.
-Recording someone in the shower is very different to recording a public servant at work.
-If the police didn’t persistently antagonise and harass the public, we wouldn’t even have been there.

Probably not the best thing to accuse all police of being bullys and tyrants, it may or may not be true however don't let feelings control what comes out of your mouth. You got to play the game dont show your true feeling to anyone let alone police.
