Part of the fun with RV is the amount of stuff to theorize about. The teasers always have some weird stuff. The MVs for sure, with a odd sense of continuity with re-used props across different concepts. Even the album covers have things to theorize about.

And yes they could check out DC. I'm a casual listener to Redvelvet and their songs are amazing too.

Also to support the theory about them casting a spell and getting stuck in a time loop, Wendy say in zimzalabim "At the moment you cast a spell, everyone becomes happy" and just a few seconds later in Irene's rap irene says "you've become accustomed to this restrictive world and now you're just numb to it all. Follow me, what else do you need? " So the theory that irene is cult leader who made recite a spell to get them stuck in a timeloop actually makes a lot of sense

i don't hardcore stan them but i do watch their content and listen to their songs and they are so interesting omg.....red velvet really has one of the most unique storylines in kpop with their everchanging genres but constant concept of keeping it dark and so mysterious behind those cutesy looks as you said....I support the third theory of irene casting the time loop and we may actually see her trying to change the events of the past as she now knows that joy may take over in future and try to control rebelling seulgi too....

"Feel the rhythm" MV was absolutely beautiful yet so dark and deep. Quite a masterpiece. I was so shocked to see references and bits of work of Hieronymus Bosch, especially the last scene at 3:45 in the mv which is a part of Hieronymus Bosch's painting called "The Garden of Earthly Delights". There are many other references like the flower joy was in and the half-man, half-bird creatures throughout the video. Quite an interesting mv and I was truly shocked to see these references..SM be going deep. If you want the explanation of the painting, feel free to ask for it. I'll edit and put it in there as I'm sure it'll help with the theories.

These all theories makes so much sense and are going wild in twitter and other social media among us ReVelus. I'm so happy someone talked about this in you tube. I alway get chills whenever i read or hear about all the theories behind redvelvet mvs.

Besides great music, this is one of the reasons why I love Red Velvet. The concepts in each comeback are so different but also very cohesive! There's a certain thrill when reveluvs come up with these crazy theories. Both Red Velvet and Reveluvs thrive together in this creative and weird atmosphere.
Hands down to the most interesting gg ever , they never make it boring they always come up with new things.
What if companies actually don't have theories and storylines? Hyyh and rv fest are the two main reasons why I don't follow storylines now 💀 I can't wrap my head around these crazy time loops

It's the SMCU (SM Culture Universe). Basically since aespa debuted, SM have gone to enhance the storyline of each group which will eventually lead to crossovers like exo in kwangya or naevis meets irene or sumn idk
Tbh sm is the only company that sticks to the concepts till the very end and is hella serious about them. So if it's a sm group, there definitely could be a theory, can't say the same about other companies' groups though 🤷♀️

I love them and their concepts is unique.
I am a hardcore Reveluv and I was WAITING to see someone analyze their discography. I literally thought I was the only one making stories out of it everyone thinks I'm crazy LOL. But their concept is so random yet dark but also preppy at the same time and that's why I'm still here with them. It's so dysfunctional and I love it. It's fun being a stan because you get to interpret messages they elicit through their bright and dark setups. It's even possible to decipher their album cover art. They are masters of creativity and it makes their existence timeless. I don't think I'll ever manage to branch away from this group. They've intrigued me since the day I first saw them in 2015 💕
Red Velvet's MVs always give off this cult vibe that continuously travels down this dark twisted rabbit hole. Also, the girls always appear like these paper dolls that have absolutely no real emotions.
Now, don't get me wrong, I like the MUSIC of Red Velvet, but I'm a bit frustrated with SME and the translation of their product(RV) into some of their music videos; bc after all, Red Velvet is one of the many products that SME sells to consumers.
It can be said about every idol and their company ..
Their idols are product that they sell to consumer/Fan .. it's not red velvet or SM exclusive

I love Red velvet's unique concept since most of the kpop groups follows Repeative concepts (no hate to any other groups with similar concepts)
Uhm it's their company that makes them follow the concepts (they give them the theme and RV go with it and express etc) (and also the same goes for many other groups)
I know that and I was just admiring the unique concept given to them and I have not hate towards the groups that are given similar concepts. Heck, I even love them too.

i found another theory on insta which said that red velvet are actually dolls, the favorite toys of a girl named reve the one we see in the teaser and all the mvs and events that have taken place in the red velvet universe is actually her imagination, that why in queendom the cat was so big, it actually wasn't it was a normal cat but bc red velvet were in a doll house it looked gigantic

RV is my favorite kpop group. What first attracted me to them is their talent. One of the other things is there is a little bit of creepiness to what they do. I do take this with a grain of salt but I also wouldn't be completely surprised if this is true.

Red velvet are trying to make us think their concept is cute but always there is a creepy meaning. Another theory is in zimzolabin there are two sides of red velvet the controller side and the controlled . The controller side are saying to the controlled side to have fun but in the end Wendy is saying that all this fun is happend in the dream and now they are stucked in the dream .Now in their dream they are going on holiday and here they are trying to kill Seulgi that she cant swim and to teach babies how to swim. In psycol Joy is alone in car because she killed the other members and she has wake up from her dream and in the end were the other members were waking up they are all alive and they are saying not to look back in their other dream stories. I am so excited for their new comeback and see what it will happend. That's my opinion have a nice 💕

I agree with everything except the part about Seulgi drowning and Joy killing the members. I do think Zimzalabim and Umpah Umpah are basically hallucinations that Irene controls. In the psycho video, Joy discovers what Irene is doing and tries to warn the other members, hence going to Yeri’s room and shutting the door, grabbing Wendy up the stairs, and whispering in Seulgi‘s ear. Irene catches wind of this though at the end, hence why the mirror breaks and at the end of the video, takes full control over them again. I think this new festival takes place after or before this. If you look at the dresses they are sewing in the “Psycho” MV, they are the same pink color as the ones from the new teasers for “Feel my rhythm”
I agree with you, also i found another theory about a little girl name Reve having 5 dolls (rv members) and all the mv's basically her imagination/dreams. And i guess that she actually imagine herself as Irene.

I'm very interested in joys position in this whole story though. I recently came across a video that showed how different joy acts in a lot of the older rv mvs like in dumb dumb and rookie. Joy seems to have a more significant role than just blindly following Irene. She keeps looking straight at the camera in this creepy way and in dumb dumb she seems to be the one controlling the machines and leading the girls.
