If you shoot some chick in a ally nobody knows or really cares about the cops aren't going to put much interest in finding the shooter..If someone famous is shot all eyes are on that case so the cops have to be thorough with the investigation and the courts do too. It's like with the Keefe D situation. If Tupac wasn't famous they would have given up on that case a long time ago and nobody would be thinking about Keefe D. Famous people shouldn't get priority in the justice system but that's just the way it is. They get priority with everything.💯

Most times when you catch a case, you're hiring a good lawyer to negotiate a good plea deal for you because most cases aren't taken to trial. I would bet anything that Tory's legal team did get him a decent plea (compared to doing 10 years, at least) but in Tory's arrogant attitude and being deathly afraid of jail, he *must've* insisted against copping to a plea to take it to trial like a dumbass under some delusion that Megan wouldn't show up or he could beat it in court. There's no doubt in my mind that his celebrity status and having the public largely on his side played a crucial role in his terrible decision making and like Vlad said, social media bullshit means nothing to a jury. You can have all of the streets on your side but that jury and judge is going to decide your life and that's that. He weaved a narrative about that night which proved he lied through his teeth to save himself from consequences and have a personal get back at Megan. I bet if Tory really focused on negotiating a plea, he'd cop to a 5-year sentence, come out in less than 3, and ideally work out his immigration status so he can work in the States when he finishes his time. I don't wish jail on people, especially for one drunken ass mistake, but I can't defend a man who really pulled out a gun in LA and shot at a woman who then went on the Internet and put it all on her as the liar, false accuser, and get the public against her when her star was blowing up. Tory is a talented guy but he's also obnoxiously arrogant.

The witness is the case said he seen Megan and her friend fight then the friend got into the car and he seen the mussle of the gun went off and also said Tory took the gun and shot it in the air. And common sense why would he shoot her? If he was drunk he wouldn’t be able to hold the gun aim and shoot with accurate aim a drunk person isn’t doing that. 🧠🧠 The judge probably would have respected that so much if Tory would have got on that stand and said that, and had been totally remorseful and it came off as genuine whether it was or not.
I think the judge would have been so much more lenient on him, especially if Tory could have had enough control to played it cool from the beginning. I mean by not making an album, not taunting her online, not steady running to social media calling the judge and whomever else racist, not making that phone call in jail that he knew would be recorded, not trying to get people on his side on social media, and whatever else he did.
Hell, TBH I think Megan probably would have asked the judge to be a little more lenient on Tory. The reason I think that is because she's still a girl from the hood in Houston, Texas, and she REALLY did NOT want to fuk over him FRFR. She actually protected him when the police showed up on the scene.

The believe those officers would have believed Meghan. I truly believe that. They would have arrested him IMMEDIATELY, Megan and Kelsey would have been good, and would still be best friends today.
