Looks like a good step from the old model, particuarly being able to turn off each compartment seperately and an app that looks like it actually works! Thanks for the review
You're welcome, VideoShowMeHow, I really like these fridges, they are a giant step up from the first iteration, seem to operate really efficiently (I had one go from 16 degrees to 5 degrees in both compartments whilst in the shop on a warm day with the lid open), and the space is really usable. ~ Ben
You're welcome, B&E, glad you like d our review. There's no white lids unfortunately, Evakool have invested heavily in their Australian manufacturing though, so you never know what they may be able to produce in the near future. ~ Ben
You can sit on the lid, it's not specifically designed as a seat though so I'm not sure if you would see any effects if it was used as such all the time. ~ Ben
The small compartment, wouldn't it be best for freezer? Yet it's at the front of the fridge where the controls and vents are? Me personally I'd use the big compartment as fridge and small as freezer. What's your thoughts on the small compartment and controls being at the front? And one other thing I noticed was the smallest basket in the small compartment. Mine has a flip up opening for taller bottles on the small basket side? Yours didn't have this feature? Is there 2 types of small baskets?
How you use it is really up to the individual, I can't think of any stand out pro's or cons either way, it's more how you want to use the fridge. As for the basket with the flip lid, the included baskets are as per the video, I'm not aware of any other types being available sorry. ~ Ben
We do @Jake Richardson - you can find it at the link below...the fridge on the slide sits just about 4cm higher. www.snowys.com.au/heavy-duty-fridge-slide-large ~ Lauren
There's a few generic ones available that it should fit with - trailerpartsdirect.com have a few that could work. We don't sell drop down slides at this stage, so haven't physically tried the combo out, so just double check the dimensions where possible. ~ Lauren
You can turn it off in which case it just becomes a cold box I guess, but it needs to be plugged into a power source for the compressor to do it's work cooling the fridge down. As for when we'll get more stock I've asked our purchasing team to see if they have any insights, I know we sold a heap of them recently so supply might be lagging a a little, I'll update you as soon as I hear back. ~ Ben

Awesome review, thanks! Would be great if there was a white lid colour option to reduce the heat load when its in the sun

Great presentation. For me the fridge has to be,a boat seat also. Can you sit on lid? Seat is settee seat and be used multiple times daily

Will this fit with a slide in a 2023 dmax xterrain roller shutter tub?
You'd have to measure the clearance you have, and compare that with the fridge height.

Hi, just wondering do these fit in a drop-down fridge slide?

Dumb question does it need to be running off power all the time?
Also when will you be getting it back in stock? Anytime before Christmas??
