The reason we are where we are as a nation is because the CHURCH has maintained a passive posture with respect to speaking into the political fray with our voting. Cory is right when he says this isn't about a political party or a leader - it is about our walks with Jesus and how that manifests itself in our daily lives, and yes, that includes our voice through the vote. The reality is, our country is set up so (supposedly) the will of her citizens is expressed through the vote. I have gotten caught up in the Doanld Trump train. I am 60 years old and registered to vote for the first time in many, many years because I was going to vote for Trump. I don't even know if I want to vote any more. People really have made him into some kind of idol. Should Christians even vote anymore? I am confused even at my age. I spent 30 years of my life as an agnostic but in deep study of US and world politics. I used to think that the solution to the world's problems would be fighting for freedom in this world through the political process. And as the knucklehead I was, after having one after another after another of the politicians who I supported letting me down, I finally came to the conclusion that there was no hope in this world. UNTIL... I found the truth in the Word of God. Those 30 years in politics were not wasted. Once I read Ephesians 6:10-20, I came to the full understanding that our political systems in this world are owned and operated by the beast system which is spiritually designed to divide and conquer, with the primary goal of reigning in the one world monetary and governmental systems under a one world antichrist religion with full spectrum dominance over the entire planet. And, of course, this is all clearly prophesied in the Word of God. So, I've turned from the pointless worldly solutions to putting on the Full Armor of God. And as far as this next election goes, I think the best thing that could happen would be a less than 5% voter turn out. By voting, we're not only saying we accept the candidate we choose but it is also signaling to the system that we approve of the process. I refuse to endorse a completely corrupt system that poses two entirely unacceptable candidates and the system that would discard any candidate who would actually call for our nation's repentance and a return to the proper rule of law and then carry the law out in a righteous manor pleasing to God.
You are absolutely correct. This world is not my home and I should act like I’m just visiting all while being a good steward of what He has entrusted to me. Matthew chapters 5 -7 deal with Godly character. 2 Timothy 3:1-8 tells us characteristics of many end times people. The bible talks about humility 1 Peter 5:5-6 James 4:6,10 Idolatry 1 Corinthians 10:14. I think many people get offended when we feel like Many Christians are trying to force or manipulate them for the lack of support for Trump. Also Bro Corey you have Great Awakening tours all over the US and many held in large church buildings as a pep rally mainly for Trump. I saw video s where Christians were equating Trump with Jesus lol. I think of ministers I know who have had it with the idolatry and pride from Trump and they will not be supporting him in Nov. We know this because Trump appointed 3 justices directly leading to overturning Roe V. Wade. Is this issue gone completely, no. But it’s a step in the right direction. Lower costs on energy means lower cost on practically all consumer goods across the spectrum. The reason we are where we are as a nation is because the CHURCH has maintained a passive posture with respect to speaking into the political fray with our voting. Cory is right when he says this isn't about a political party or a leader - it is about our walks with Jesus and how that manifests itself in our daily lives, and yes, that includes our voice through the vote. The reality is, our country is set up so (supposedly) the will of her citizens is expressed through the vote. Guess what happens if believers are not voting their values at the ballot box - we end up exactly where we are today. We are overrun by evil and we still stand idly by and say it's not our business. Hundreds of thousands of men died on the battlefield to give us the freedoms we take for granted; freedoms that people in other countries have risked their lives to exercise.
If you don't know who Dietrich Bonhoeffer is, I suggest you do some reading. He was an evangelist during the rise of Hitler and was one of very few who warned and spoke against him. What did many of the pastors and parishioners of that time do? Exactly what many of the pastors and parishioners of our time are doing; putting their heads in the sand and hoping it will all fix itself. We are to be salt and light. We can be believers and speak our minds in the political arena, just like many of us can walk and chew gum at the same time. I for one will not stand idly by and watch our nation go down the toilet while spitting upon the graves of the men and women who gave their lives so that I could enjoy the GOD GIVEN freedoms that I enjoy, by refusing to speak through the ballot box. If you can, then that's between you and God. A Christian who exercises their right to vote, and cares enough about the future of their nation to voice their concerns in the political arena when they see the opportunity to speak light into darkness, does not an idolater make.

I have gotten caught up in the Doanld Trump train. I am 60 years old and registered to vote for the first time in many, many years because I was going to vote for Trump. I don't even know if I want to vote any more. People really have made him into some kind of idol. Should Christians even vote anymore? I am confused even at my age. I spent 30 years of my life as an agnostic but in deep study of US and world politics. I used to think that the solution to the world's problems would be fighting for freedom in this world through the political process. And as the knucklehead I was, after having one after another after another of the politicians who I supported letting me down, I finally came to the conclusion that there was no hope in this world. UNTIL... I found the truth in the Word of God.
Those 30 years in politics were not wasted. Once I read Ephesians 6:10-20, I came to the full understanding that our political systems in this world are owned and operated by the beast system which is spiritually designed to divide and conquer, with the primary goal of reigning in the one world monetary and governmental systems under a one world antichrist religion with full spectrum dominance over the entire planet. And, of course, this is all clearly prophesied in the Word of God.
So, I've turned from the pointless worldly solutions to putting on the Full Armor of God. And as far as this next election goes, I think the best thing that could happen would be a less than 5% voter turn out. By voting, we're not only saying we accept the candidate we choose but it is also signaling to the system that we approve of the process. I refuse to endorse a completely corrupt system that poses two entirely unacceptable candidates and the system that would discard any candidate who would actually call for our nation's repentance and a return to the proper rule of law and then carry the law out in a righteous manor pleasing to God.

I think many people get offended when we feel like Many Christians are trying to force or manipulate them for the lack of support for Trump. Also Bro Corey you have Great Awakening tours all over the US and many held in large church buildings as a pep rally mainly for Trump. I saw video s where Christians were equating Trump with Jesus lol. I think of ministers I know who have had it with the idolatry and pride from Trump and they will not be supporting him in Nov. Our trust is In The Lord not man Psalm 118:8-9 Jeremiah 17:5-7 Isaith 26:3-4 Proverbs 3:5-6. The pastors should get some of the blame as they allowed this from the pulpit. Actually yes. Because under Trump, you at least have a chance in passing legislation built on Godly Christian values. We know this because Trump appointed 3 justices directly leading to overturning Roe V. Wade. Is this issue gone completely, no. But it’s a step in the right direction. Whereas under the Democrats, you’ll NEVER get legislation that promotes Christians. Lastly, there’s the scripture for the Jews in Jeremiah where they are told to seek the welfare of the nation they are held captive. Not saying we’re in exile, but strong America means a country where we have more resources to preach the gospel. It was much better under Trump, and should be better if he gets re-elected. Voting for Trump is an easy decision for me. And it’s not because I’m deep red MAGA whatever. I’m just looking at things logically, and I can honestly say Trump was a good president.

I'm only going on what I know. Under Trump: 1. We had a strong economy thanks to deregulation and tax cuts. This lifts all boats, poor middle and upper. 2. A built up and respected military to knock out terrorists and be involved in no new wars also ending wars. ISIS got sent back to the stone age. Trump had a solid arrangement for pulling out of Afghanistan started under Bush, and Biden totally and embarrassingly fumbled it. 3. Foreign policy. Russia, North Korea, China and Iran didn't dare make any bold moves under Trump. They saw Obama and Biden as empty suits, and there's plenty of proof. Line in sand about Syria Obama blunder? And there's the Abraham Accords. Trump should have gotten the Nobel Peace prize, but the establishment can't have that. 4. Border and immigration policy. Unsecured brings in criminal activity, illegal votes, and takes jobs away from lower skilled workers that are US citizens. The Democrats under Bill Clinton were all for a secure border until they realized they could get cheap labor and illegal votes. 5. Renegotiated unfair trade deals. This greatly benefitted rural and rust belt jobs. We saw factories and farms across "flyover" country thriving after decades of zero operation. 6. Energy independence and exports. Lower costs on energy means lower cost on practically all consumer goods across the spectrum. Under Biden, we are buying dirty oil from Venezuela, when we can get cleaner oil production in our own land.

This man is right in that our priorities are misplaced. That doesn't mean our vote isn't important. The Bible tells us how to be good citizens who have an earthly king. We don't have that system. Some are very eager to share. Let's not forget the wheat and tares and Jesus telling us that "We" must all grow together because uprooting the bad may uproot the good ❤I do agree that a good many Christians do not have the correct focus.
Has anyone tried to organize zoom meetings to discuss Christianity? That would be awesome. However, a political party organized zoom calls with different groups to mobilize for a presidential election as one of the ways to campaign in America and I believe that’s okay.

I get on those phone calls Corey all the time and defend the gospel and keep telling people to watch what’s coming because the end times may be approaching faster than we think! I keep telling them look at the signs the spirit of deceit is in the air and many will be deceived. but They take it light. Because I’m not a Big Bishop, prophet, or high position person. I’m just a regular member who was born in Apostolic with discernment. I don’t claim to be anything but a follower of Christ and so it’s a shrug off. But if some fake preacher tell them the Lord told him to tell them to eat only Rice Krispies they will listen just because he holds a title.
