Rocks Cousteau 2023 2024
Awesome story about your Grandfather, much respect and gratitude to him,Thanks
I have really enjoyed your videos. As a Veteran I salute your Grandfather, let me assure you he was the definition of a hero.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing your Grandfathers story, Rocks.
So glad Your Cat is doing better. Yes, Your Grandfather is a hero, thank you for sharing his story and showing us his medals. Much love.
I'm so glad Little Kitty is better. It sucks when one of our pets are sick.
Those dog tags are awesome finds! Respect to him and your grandfather. He was definitely a war hero. I loved hearing his story and seeing his medals. 💖💯
Those dog tags you found are super cool! Thanks for sharing your Grandfather's medals, photos, and for and telling his story! I wish he were here so I could thank him for his service. I have much respect for all Veterans. I am glad the kitty is feeling better!
That's a wonderful family history story, thank you for sharing it. Your grandparents looked like wonderful people. And, I'm happy your sweet old girl is feeling better too. Bless her!
Wow Rock, your grandpa was an American badass. Much respect.
glad to see Shes feeling better.
That is awesome
A nice bit of history there
Hi Rocks. I'm so glad your friend is doing way better now. Bless her little heart. Those dog tags are a super cool find. Had you dug a little deeper, you might have come across some war memorbila stuff. Cannot understand why that was thrown out. Unless the guy's kids had no use for it. That happens a lot lately. Wish I still had all my uncle's WW2 medals today. Especially his purple heart. But moving around so much, they became lost forever. Thanks Rocks! 👍👍👍👍🙋♂️
Rocks I spent 6 years in the 4th infantry, a lot of younger family members gave good luck tokens that soldiers would wear with their dog tags.
Congratulations on your grandfather, surviving the War and the concentration camps, I salute him gor his service. Little Kitty is looking much better!❤
I have my father’s dog tag from his years in the Navy.
Hi Rocks. If you want to you can go to the Court House Veterans affairs office and ask if they can track down the family.
That’s great you have your grandfather’s medals. He certainly was a hero. Yes the German dog tags were made to be broken off if the person passed they would keep one on the body the other part gets turned in for records purposes. I had to take a guess the dog tags that you found were probably from the Vietnam era. World War II and Korean War era dog tags had a little notch inside. Just like what your grandfather’s dog tags have on them. And usually that little token was like a good luck charm. Are you gonna dig that site more?
If only those dog tags could talk .
I had an uncle's name was Thomas Grimes
Army gave you; dog tags and a serial number if it started with us it meant you were drafted if ra you in listed. I was in Vietnam in 1968-69 and my serial no. started with US.
