Wow! This takes me back. I owned a former race car from So Cal1946 TC .. back in the early 50s.. paid around $800. WAAAAAAY bored out, hot cam, cross flow head, all lightened and balanced. 1 1/2 " carbs 2 fuel pumps. Requisite roll bar, Borani 15 " wire wheels, custom headers and exhaust, ALFIN brake drums, no side panels on the hood which was held down by belts. , velocity stacks.. etc. .... a screamer. Wish I still had it. Thanks for the video.
Hey Danial, I'm so glad I stumbled upon your videos. I thoroughly enjoy and admire your love of vintage cars. Most of all, it is very inspiring.. I have been involved vintage racing for some years with my father who is no longer able to participate due to health reasons. I have been given the task to be the new care taker to a 1949 MG TC that has quite a racing history and even mentioned in the book The Last Open Road. The car is in need of some minor sorting after it was rebuilt a few years ago, but I'm enjoying the process. I look forward to your progress!
"Some" is the level of my geometry as well...it's served me well for many years. Here's to it working just as well for you!
Got me where I needed to go I think! 😁
